Re: windows. It’s taken too long now..Sometimes as a young person you need to be firmer yet respectful when dealing with authority because at times you feel
Like they are taking you for a ride because you are a younger owner.
This. You don't have to be nasty about it, but you need to be a constant presence down at the management office until your windows are taken care of. Document all dates and interactions with them so you have a paper trail. Become their problem until they finally figure out you are not going away until your windows are replaced. Firm and persistent.

Your neighbor might be doing that on purpose since he's elderly, so that if something happens, the neighbors will know. I had a neighbor that did that and one day she collapsed and a neighbor was able to get her help.

If they wanted a place to smoke free reign, they should’ve bought a place that isn’t condo style 🤷🏻♀️ I know it’s not cheap but also…. nobody deserves to smell second-hand smoke (which is harmful) in their own homes either. Ppl who smoke don’t realize how much it STINKS. Both my parents are smokers and I can literally hug them (without them smoking at the time) and smell it in my hair in the shower afterwards. It just is what it is🤷🏻♀️

I totally agree with the smoking ban in your building, especially the smell of weed is like wet skunk to me. I don't know if you have an HOA (Homeowners Association} but if you do they usually issue warnings first and then can go into actual fines for repeat offenses. I believe they can even put a lein on properties that have not paid the fines. Anyway, keep spying on the neighbors, hope things work out and you don't get a restraining order issued by the old man for stalking.🤣🤣🤣

Getting smoke from neighbours is pretty awful! It annoys me pretty bad sometimes anyway... Even when it's from outside... So I dunno... I understand too, how people who own their place deserve their freedoms. But... They've got to be sure their smoke doesn't adversely affect other people, to be fair. I just wish people wouldn't smoke anyway... Obviously because it's super unhealthy (including cannabis) and health is my area of expertise... Hopefully you'll catch up with that lady one day free from any contentious topics 🥰
If you own property you have every right to smoke on it. I have neighbours that smoke, if i go out to my backyard, usually i can smell it. Yeah i don't love the smell of it but who am i to tell them they can't smoke a cigarette on their own property. Life doesn't always revolve around you (not saying you specifically)
@@transient442 life doesn’t revolve around the smokers either… nobody deserves to inhale second hand smoke in their own units in a condo style setting… there are rules to follow in those types of units and it just is what it is. just like if you have an HOA and live in a neighborhood, they have rules. The ppl who bought these condos knew they’d have restrictions and they took a vote. Clearly the majority of ppl aren’t down for it so majority rules.

OMG do I wish we could ban WEED around here. Thank god the upstairs neighbors moved, I was smelling weed every single night. I HATE WEED!!!! Blech. Imagine being in your own home and you're forced to smell it all the time.
