I think this wore really well on you. The side you powdered looked a tad powdery at first, but the first check-in it looked perfect like the unset side. It looked good at the final check-in, like you just applied it. Great wear test!
Love, love, love it!!! The foundation has had marvelous reviews because it is so innovative!! It is different than any foundation I have ever tried and I am a 65 year old foundation junkie! I think it is great and everyone should try it.
@beverly Welch I am definitely doing to try this. I am 57 years young and I too have purchased so many different foundations from drug store to high end and I need one that is going to get the job done and this seems to be the one to do just that. Thanks for sharing you experience with it.
Thank you for yhe review I think that its awin I am an oily acne prone 40's girl as well so this review gave me great insight its going to be my bday treat
It looks very beautiful on you 💜 - When I First saw it it reminded me of the Tatcha silk canvas putty- The concealer did work cooling it down nice trick 🥰
i've seen a number of wear tests with this product. reviews are mixed but it looks really good on you. i was thinking the #9 shade...wish she had more. I like how you applied the balm..i don't see the need for that little spoon thingy, lol. thanks for the review. hope you continue to like it because it held up well
Wow I have seen a few wear test of this one and the translucent shade and I am so so impressed. I have mature skin and foundation tends to start breaking up on me after about 5 hours, even though I set with powder and finishing spray. I have tried so many different kinds of foundations, pressed powder, loose setting powder and still it starts to break up and settle into my fine lines and pores. I have oily combo skin but this looks absolutely amazing. I am definitely going to pick this up. Thanks for sharing it looks absolutely amazing on you. I just came across your channel and I a new subbie.
@@SonyaNicole I have a question for you…. I have forehead wrinkles/lines. How do I keep the makeup from settling into them. I have tried using a finishing powder which supposedly is good for mature skin and textured skin it claims to have a blurring effect but huh 🤔 lol I really don’t see a difference. I have brought so many different loose setting powders, finishing powders, and pressed powders to wear I can set up a shop just on powders alone. Lol. I know my 40+ skin is what it is, I just want to make it a little less visible or at least try and keep the makeup from setting into them you know what I mean. Thank you for any advice you can give. Also thank you for responding. Some of the other MUA/MUI I follow either don’t respond or they will say check my videos or just give it a heart.
@@sweetbaby00000000 the forehead wrinkles is one of my biggest issues too. I have noticed that using less product really helps, as well as rubbing facial oil on the forehead. I think that softens the skin and makes it more pliable. But the biggest thing that has made a difference is when I started doing my eye makeup before foundation. I think my foundation would crease on the forehead just from trying to apply eyeshadow or mascara on my lower lid because I would have to look up lol
@@SonyaNicole thank you for the tips ….. I am definitely going to try it in the morning. Facial oil, eyes before foundation and less products on my forehead. Got it , I will let you know how it all turns out 💕💕
Hey lovely. Are you still reaching for this? Would love to know how it acts in cold weather. I got a sample in the universal shade from my last Sephora order and baby, I'm blown away! I used it with the lip bar skin tint which transfers like crazy and breaks up. Chile, it didn't move!
You know I haven't touched this one since this video, but I use that universal shade all the time! This shade is just too warm for me. If they had a better shade, this would definitely be my go-to!
It’s very beautiful put on her video she also applied a character to the dark spots before applying the blur powder, but it looks beautiful on you it looks like you have a tan, and yes, I would like you to do a side-by-side comparison with her foundation liquid one that would be wonderful, excellent video and thank you for your honesty. You did an exceptional job special for us oily girls! 😍🥰👩🏾🦲
Yes I picked this up in 7 for foundation and 6 for concealer , you Made 8 work , loving the new hair , thanks for sharing 😊 , I know my under tone is hard to find as well , but we are shade sisters , I think you could get away with 7 as well, I think 8 would be to warm for me as well
Hi Sonya. I just used both the translucent blurring balm powder and I love it 🥰. I will definitely be using this as my primer from here on out. Now on to blurring powder shade number 8. I wanted to love it so much but it seems a bit to warm or Orange. What I noticed is it looked a lot better when I used a sponge instead of the brush. I did my highlight and set with the Charlotte tilbury flawless airbrush finishing powder. Wait a minute as this is drying down and settling into my skin I feel like it is matching my skin better. If that makes sense. One thing I did notice it takes a little bit to go from balmy to powder. I have to admit the finish is absolutely beautiful. It lives up to the claims of it being blurring. I am in love with it. I think I might try another shade.
It’s really pretty. Thank you for the review. I was thinking about getting the translucent version and shade number 7, but concerned it might be too neutral and a tiny bit of 8 mixed with it might be perfect for summer if I’m getting a bit of sun. But, buying 3, ugh. I know I won’t use it daily. You know I’m always on my perfect zoom makeup quest so starting to accumulate new foundations. But I reach for my Jane Irendale powder foundation every time. 😂 Your skin looks fabulous. Do you have a skin care routine video?
I couldn’t resist and I bought shade 7 and the translucent one. I’m hoping my sister can use shade 8 but it might be too light for her. I’ll be doing a video on the translucent one, testing it as a primer under liquid foundation. I’ll have to check our Jane irendale. I keep seeing that brand on Ulta but never checked it out
@@SonyaNicole The shade I use, Maple, has been replaced but I bought a few replacements to have back stock. Considering I work remote and only wear makeup a couple of times a week it’s a lifetime supply. Lol 😂 I think the replacement might be a good match but have never swatched it. I like the quality and coverage for a powder foundation. I’m disappointed that the Fenty powder foundation is not as solid. It’s soft and too flakey. If I dab my brush into it I immediately see powder in the air, but not with the JI.
Nice packaging. Shiny. Sheer probably and for oily skin hmm 🤔. But looks pretty. It does look warm. 10 shades ok 👌🏻 it does look nice tho. Sure side by side for fun. Both look the same right now
It’s definitely not 100% transfer proof, but I would say it is transfer resistant. I’ve worn it under a mask and not too much makeup was on the mask after a few hours
I think it’s worth it for people who want a lightweight look and have oily skin. It’s superb at oil control. And this is different from a powder foundation. It’s a balm that sets as a powder, so you can use it on its own or under other foundations
I think this wore really well on you. The side you powdered looked a tad powdery at first, but the first check-in it looked perfect like the unset side. It looked good at the final check-in, like you just applied it. Great wear test!

I enjoyed the video and it looks like your right side appeared less shiny😊. Great video!
Thank you 💛!!
Just found you, and it looks great ... I too have hyperpigmentation and wonder how this skin tint works under a foundation you like.
I’ve been using the universal one under other foundations lately and I love it! Thanks for watching ☺️
Been looking forward to this! ♥️

The powdered side does look more airbrushed it’s nice

I had to switch to shade 7 but that is too warm too and it’s a neutral shade😣. I really hope they extend the shade range
I like how it looks on u the side with powered look very nice glad to see this video I’m May try it

I don’t see as much shiny areas for real 😮
I know! Blown away at this one!!
for nearly £40 ...i dont see how this is worth it. for this lightweight look. there are many other powder foundations out there for half the price.🤷
