Awesome build.. I keep watching it over and over..I'm in love.. By chance do you have blueprints for the dimensions of the bed? And or how you made it? Last one, What are the dimensions of the cupboards.. like the entire wall unit? Thank you
This is actually amazing. I think I like it more than the MR2. You should start a custom car shop where you do stuff like this for people. Me being from the US, where these vans weren't sold, I legitimately thought the rear interior was from the factory because of the insane quality and fitment of everything. Amazing quality bro, you have a true passion for cars.
Yeah cheers, it turned out really well. Some look like they just have cupboards thrown in the back, I got mine to look “fitted”. More work but definitely worth it. 👍
you have not had coffee untill you have had Australian Coffee. its a mix of Greek, italian, egyptian, English, German, Estonian, Lebonese Coffee. All in a Massive MASSIVE Cup.
I can't believe how good this conversion is 😳. Not just seeing what this Transporter once was to how it looks now but the unbelievable thought and attention to detail you've put in. Truly astonishing and one of the best conversions I've seen👍👍👍
That is absolutely awesome. I used to own a 2005 fiat camper, sold it, and now I got a Ford Transit from 1981...needs a lot of work, but this video has given me loads of inspiration. Thank you.
This is actally the cleanest van build i've seen! Everything seems to have been measures precisely, finished to a high standard and meticulously well thought out. Congrats mate!
Dang dude, that sky in the thumbnail! It's on fire! A bit of luck to get that light perhaps, but that's still a superb photo to take advantage of it so well!
This is brilliant, you can really tell you put some thought and personality in this. Great job, great tips and I agree with other comments that you should set up a custom conversion business. Well done!!!
I have the same van is in magic black love the colour of yours I’m looking to get it re-sprayed. Where did you get your worktop And the light bar on the front thank you great video
Pippa Shaw I made the worktop myself. I just googled for some Formica until I found the colour I fancied and glued it onto some marine ply. The light bar is just a random eBay rgb led strip glued under the worktop
SpyderLEE sorry it was the led light bar on the front grille. I have seen a lot on Amazon but I don’t have any idea on how to pick one I want a bright one.
Pippa Shaw ah that one. That’s also random off eBay. Just search cree light bar. I bought the longest one I could fit in that gap. The curved ones are better but more expensive. I also bought a wiring kit with a switch and relay
I've always figured the single sliding door was the way to go but you've made a great case for having one on each side. That makes much more sense for accessing water/gas/electrical without having to worry about making everything tidy/accessible from the interior cupboard doors. Smart!
Dude, I hate you....now I gotta have it! LOL Outstanding work. If you ever want to sell I'm in Germany....I'll come get it tomorrow! Thanks for sharing.
What a great looking van. There is no escaping just how much work has gone into making it look so cool, no doubt backed up by a whole load of talent. Really well done and needless to say, I wish it was mine! :)
Phenomenal job! .. unbelievable the way you’ve designed it and taken advantage of every possible space, just things like that slot at the bottom right side in the rear where you keep your chair etc .. Everything done as well to a high standard. Well done mate , amazing job.
Hello mate, fantastic video and an awesome van! well done! I was wondering if you'd be able to do a video just going over the design of the bed frame as it looks pretty good and could be something I'd like to replicate. Cheers mate!
Wow ! I'm quite impressed with your fit and finish of your van you did a very professional looking job with the interior cabinetry and kitchenette i am a retired commercial Woodworker That has had a lifelong passion for Wood, boating , and Antique Automobiles years ago i got discouraged by the craftsmanship and high costs of upohlsery. So i bought a industrial walking foot sewing machine to do my own interiors and boat cushions i found that with my basic knowledge in how things go together some practice and patience Sewing was actually enjoyable and rewarding to do btw the machine is a Chinese clone from Ebay and was reasonably priced and has held up remarkably well without any issues other than normal maintenance etc. with your skills and creativity I'm guessing it would be something you may enjoy also the drawback you may encounter is you need a pretty large space to work in as often the fabrics are in wide widths in a perfect world i hope to one day actually be able of dedicating a large area of a home or shop to doing more upholstery and carpet work id like to try working in leather As well and try some fancier stitching found in high end Automobiles to expand my horizons and possibly. Make wood furniture I personally hit. A large obstacle along the way in my 40s i wound up suffering from some traumatic brain injuries that created som paralysis in my limbs and forced me to retire from my previously mentioned career earlier than planned through lots of physical therapy. And hard work i am slowly getting back to the hobbies i love
Keep at it dude. And love the positive attitude. It’s the drive for those passions what we live for. I enjoy creating things, whatever they are. Its the reason I started the RUclips videos. I enjoy the editing.
Tip on you front swivel seat . Drop the hand brake and put it into 5th gear .. loads easier .. struggled with mine till someone gave me the tip ... mint van by the way👌👏😊
Love everything about the build...except...the wheels. Low pros look good but aren't really practical. JFL : just for looks. Otherwise, a most excellent build.
Very impressive job mate . I am just about to start my 3rd van conversion but i have learned that you can overdesign vans and well over spend and end up losing lots of money. Once you factor in the material costs and the working hours you are better off negotiating very hard on a coachbuild and save yourself time money and effort. The only reason i am doing my own conversion again is because i want to carry a motorbike, mountainbike, inflatables and climbing gear and the weight is too much for a custom built campervan. An important concideration for anyone thinking about a coachbuilt is Weight limit in the garage area. I had an Adria last year and it could only hold 100kg max . Well dont on the finish and quality of all your work.....its a real professional job . I am currious to find out what it all costs. The only thing i would have done diferent is not to lower a transporter and defo not put a front skirt on because it will not last long when you get on rough tracks as i found out by putting a Barabus front on my last VW Crafter , after getting it sprayed and fitted with cool spotlights it stood me at a grand and in the first month i cracked it :(. Well done
Man you have smashed it. You are my T5 guru! Im preparing my self to get one of those. Most of them seems to be beaten very much. What you have done is incredible. If you have drawings for the bed railing those shaves and units and also the table and table fixings ect... please pass it over so it can be guide to my future conversion o a T5. Really have no worlds to describe the amazing job you have don to your T5
Cheers thanks very much. Sorry no drawing of anything. I literally made it up as I went along and scribbled on bits of paper. Made the bed to the cushions. Then measured the wardrobe to where the bed finished. Then made the other cupboards to fill the gap left. Making some the correct width for the fridge, portaloo and water containers. For the worktop height I asked a friend to measure his
Bloody well done, the interior looks like it was made on a factory, it looks mass produced, and this is high praise for something hand built. Excelent.
YOU are a MASTER craftsman! This is amazing. I love the look of these vans. Even Better that it comes in a diesel. Love the Build I can't even begin to tell you just how IMPRESSED I am with the work you did. It is Rolls Royce Build quality here. Back in the day when they use to do everything from hand. Also, LOVE the look of the VAN. I mean I LOVE IT! BRAVO SIR! BRAVO! Now lets see one of these Lifted with a 4x4 setup. This T-5 Van would look so cool as a 6 wheel arrangement and extended. These VW's look so much like what they have rolling around in Japan. Love the Germanness of this thing.
I don’t normally comment on videos but I thought this was well worth a few words. I think this build is pretty amazing and you don’t actually realise how good you are. Keep up the good work !
Best van I ever saw on youtube for sure!! specially for a small van. that bed is just crazy, great job. all proper done, and the table is just a great idea.

Ian Gichohi I made it up as I went along. I didn’t write down any measurements
Scrap Life you look funny
Hello bud would you be able to give me a price to do the same work in the back of the van ( camper bits) if I supply the van?
This just looks so cool.
"And I'm quite fat." Nice to see people can still have a chuckle at their own expense these days.
Awesome build, everything looks amazing. Good work!
That's the moment I realized I had to like this video and love this guy.
hands down best van build on youtube!!!
That’s a bold statement 👍😀

Im 2 years late, but these VW T5 vans are sold in the Us ..
One of the coolest conversion vans I’ve seen.
That interior looks superb! As a mountain biker ive always wanted one of these. Hats off to you mate, superb bit of work.

Good one. Glad to hear it 😁
What you have done (and ultimately achieved) is truly remarkable. You are a very talented man. The van is a magnificent modification.
Absolutely no wasted space. Amazing work!
Fair play to you, hell if I had the money I'd buy one of these and pay you to do it up like that. well done 👏
That heckin thingie 🤟

Wow, impressive, most impressive. Probably the most methodical builds I have seen.

never have I been more mad we can't get the T5 in North America. That's an amazing build. love all the built in electronics!
I’ve just done a video looking into all the electrics 👍
This van is amazing. Would love to have this set up in the states. Good work

Mate. Wow. You need a dedicated shop and relocate somewhere that touring is hugely popular. We'll have you in AUS. You'll be bloody successful.
Great stuff, I used to watch your MR2 stuff when I had one. I had a T5 for six years and still regret selling it.
wow, you've done an awesome work
love the interior, such a nice design
