Riding the bus is the second best mode of transportation in Vegas other than owning your own vehicle. Thanks for sharing.

115 degree weather starting to be the norm during summer in Vegas, but still you think cars are good, eh?

@@ddrhazy Yes, if you can afford to own one. One can get many tasks accomplished with a car.

@@briank8482 Visit Europe sometime. Many cities do not require the need to own a car. Vegas should strive to be like that if it wants to truly be considered a "tourist" destination.

Great video, I use the RTC whenever I visit so this just proves there is nothing to be afraid of leaving the strip and Fremont Street.

This is a nice way to take a look at different parts of Vegas for ppl who want to see more than the tourist parts. Especially those looking to move there. Its not all shiny and pretty. That was some nice camera zoomage to the Strat.

You are right, it's not all shiny and pretty. Some areas are ugh...

It's nice to see you travel to "parts unknown" this time around, instead of keeping yourself around the strip, Fremont and their surrounding areas.

You are correct. Sometimes I feel like a dog on patrol, hitting the same areas over and over again.

Thank you for the ride. My original interest in the CX bus was to see if it would be an alternative to the Deuce to get from the strip to Fremont Street. I think if one had more time than money this would work. Lots of other interesting things, seeing Las Vegas from the back side of the strip.

    • @OneManOneCamera

The strip to Fremont is not bad, unless there is heavy traffic.

The Historic Westside is where the Moulin Rouge Hotel and Casino was located on Bonanza. Also, when Las Vegas was segregated, it where Black families owned homes in order to work on the strip.

Thank you for the information. I remember watching a video about the segregation, which is usually glossed over whenever the history of the strip is reviewed.

Where does this bus go? Are there many stops, does it connect with other bus lines? How long does the whole circuit/route last?

    • @OneManOneCamera
      @OneManOneCamera  10 месяцев назад

The route is from Skye Canyon Park and Grand Canyon to the airport. As this is and express, there are only 11 stops. It takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes for the route and it connects with various other lines.
Search "RTC CX Line" for more information. Happy riding.

What is the mini pyramid-like building at 31:10?

    • @OneManOneCamera

That is part of the Clark County Government Center. It's across from the Las Vegas North Premium Outlets.
