IT IS much better that most of the modern edm or dark techno stuff that has been pushed so it becomes SO popular this days. For me it's clear that technology/social engineering agendas are indeed dumbing down MORE people than before, and that includes the creation of music (less attention span= less complexity in tunes. More urgency in relasing the tracks and making money = less time spent in sound design and arrangement, using templates and patches, no room or desire for experimenting, obsession with hustling renders it all with this soulless tunes that seem GENERATED more than CREATED). I've seen and attend myself some electronic music parties and the youngsters dance so much less than back in the day (they are now too involved with their phones).
I still remember the echo this song made at raves before the drop at 4:15. Whole body feeling cold, tingles up the back of the neck and then hit with the bass. 10 years on and still get the heart palpitations I felt back then. Amazing memories.

I had my first set last Saturday, after a series of strong acid techno tracks I dropped Domino at around 5am. When I saw how people reacted I immediately felt chills, the type you get from xtc at peak time, but I only had a shot of tequila that evening! Had people in the front row give me fist bumps and shake hands one after another. It suddenly became emotional for everyone. I will never forget that feeling, and it was on my very first gig at a club, such a great experience!

I think the reason why this song is such a classic it’s due to the fact that it really captures what is techno. You have the “main base” and yet you keep always hearing new “backgrounds sounds” that makes all even more appealing and embracing by the vibe and the rhythm I honestly love techno and this classic gives me the possibility to enjoy it so much

No beatport por exemplo é classificada como tech-house: www.beatport.com/track/domino-original-mix/1238138 . Eu acho que é uma mistura dos estilos. Acho que ele usa um lack maior de diferentes sons usualmente utilizados no minimal, porém o rítmo da melodia em minha opinião é totalmente do minimal.

@Victor Arez Sobre não ser tech-house eu acho que é difícil a música ter uma classificação exata. No beatport por exemplo é classificada como tech-house: www.beatport.com/track/domino-original-mix/1238138 . Eu acho que é uma mistura dos estilos. Acho que ele usa um lack maior de diferentes sons usualmente utilizados no minimal, porém o rítmo da melodia em minha opinião é totalmente do minimal.
