I haven't left the house since March, it's June now. All this Corona shit got me missin my class, especially this one kid who could always make me laugh.
I loved him so much, I understood him so bad and I needed him the most. But he didn’t feel the same towards me. Everyday I would cry even after a year and wonder if I will ever get to feel his touch and hear his words. I always wondered what if he did, if he did love me the same but couldn’t show it? I never have asked myself to wait I was inpatient but hurt. I love him. I still do.
I wrote these lyrics after my grandpa passed away in December. He fought 2 different rare cancers, pneumonia, and sepsis. He was a big part of my life and one of my biggest fans when I was in show choir. I am still working on the lyrics and it's still pretty rough in my opinion. I was supposed to see Kodaline at Manchester Arena November 16th 2019, but my mum passed away a day before the concert. That concert was postponed to this year and has since been cancelled. All I want is to hear this song live, and to feel the silence of the crowd as the emotional lyrics hit us all at once.
