I had to surrender my kitty to a no kill shelter when I moved and I held her in the car for two hours and sobbed before I brought her in and I miss her so much. I wrote these lyrics after my grandpa passed away in December. He fought 2 different rare cancers, pneumonia, and sepsis. He was a big part of my life and one of my biggest fans when I was in show choir. I am still working on the lyrics and it's still pretty rough in my opinion. I've never posted lyrics I wrote like this because of my social anxiety, but I hope whoever reads this likes it and gives me good feedback or constructive criticism.

I've only done this one other time. I wrote lyrics to this same song about my family and how i felt after a family fight. I am open to posting that too if anyone wants. I am pretty happy with how that one turned out. This one has been hard for me because my grandpa passed away not to long ago. But also because I still want the lyrics to flow/rhyme and tell how I feel like how much I love and miss him.

Me and my best friend live long distance (me in the UK and her in Australia). This is our song that we play when ever we need each other, every time i sing it to her she cries.
