I also ordered the following full ceramic bearings, which have an ABEC-9 rating, meaning they are high precision bearings, so these might work even better:

Ceramic bearings offer incredibly low friction, do not need any type of lubrication, are corrosion resistant, and are non-magnetic, which is quite important in our case.
Also updated the Arduino Pulsed Motor Controller code to do all the processing while the motor is NOT being pulsed, to get more accurate readings and pulse timing:

There is now also a branch that contains code to measure the source battery voltage using the Arduino and a voltage divider, as well as a branch that adds a multi-pulse option to experiment with.
