Thats how I pronounce Protaras too. I was there too years ago. I have a cypriot friend who is from Nicosia and she brought me all around. Even up to no man's land to show me Famagusta in the distance. A soldier came up but they explained they were just letting me see it in the distance 😁
Been a while since I've been to Aiya Napa and Protaras, Protaras was my favourite, you should also check out some of the beaches, Nissi and Fig Tree Bay as well as The Tomb of the Kings, Paphos, also horse riding in the Troodos mountains, also did some mini cruises from Limisol to The pyramids in Egypt, and Jerusalem... great memories ☀️🏖😎👍

Nothing like Blackpool Kev 😂 the Cypriot tavernas are the best choice for food. Cyprus is such a family friendly place and that’s why we return to protaras every year since 2018. Enjoy your trip

Ayia Napa isn’t my kind of place, but I’m sure there are thousands who love it. It wouldn’t do for us all to like the same resorts and I always enjoy a variety of different videos👍🏻
My first ever foreign holiday. 30 odd years ago, I loved it back then. We returned with our kids about 10 yrs later and it was still good.We were in Protaras last year and got the bus into Ayia. What a dump it is now compared to back then. Shame cos it used to be so good, but very dated now and run down.
I love it there I disagree with the comparisons to Blackpool , there is lots to do and see besides nightclubs , boat trips , fantastic beaches , bars and restaurants I could go every year
Don't get caught in the tourist trap... Last time I was there I got jailed for driving around on a scooter with no helmet when none of the locals where wearing a helmet, literally about 20 locals drove past me with no helmet while I was talking to cops at side of road and this was all before they changed the law to make wearing a helmet compulsory... Ended up costing me a few quid before they let me out and all the locals in the cell laughed and said you got hit with the tourist tax
Should of offered them 10 euro pal 😂

Aya Napa is a party destination and if it’s not for them then fine but no need to make snide remarks.
Everyone had this own idea of what a holiday is and a lot of people like to have some fun as well as relaxing.
Why you not going to the strip Kev? 😂 I’m off to Benidorm on Wednesday morning and I’ll be going to the strip, I’m almost 50 and I don’t care 🤷🏻♀️ 😂😂

Kev… we’ve been to Aya Napa several times and you are right it had a young vibe but also it is for families and oldies like us. Overall we really like it especially down the far end of the hotel strip where we stayed the hotels are very nice. Go to the harbour and water front the restaurants are nice.

Is this your first time to Cyprus? You have beening missing Cyprus. Ayia Napa is a resort of many sides. People who say Blackpool in the sun don't know what they are talking about. My favourite is Protaras, lovely beaches, plenty of entainment and nice hotels. My only moan about Protaras is that the holidays are more expensive than other parts of the island. The Sunrise hotels are good. They have 6 restaurants that you can dine around in instead of having your evening meal in the hotels, 3 or 4 times a week.

😆😆 great vid Kevin. Hope you’re well. Other than generally having a beach & being tourist-orientated resorts, I can’t see any resemblance to Blackpool in any of the places you’ve visited. Obviously some folk aren’t as well travelled as they think they are! Crack on mate.

We are 56 and go to Ayia Napa. There is loads to do there. If you like live band and a pint try the square bar. The church by the way is a monastery. We Still enjoy bar street. Cafe Central, pepper (that nice place) is a Sushi bar and it has DJs and gets loud later and Sal n Pepe are all attached to the Hotel behind called The Napa Plaza. We stay there. Great to see you in Napa. If you go for Meze can I recommend the Ayia Napa taverna. Best there is. Protaras is decent too. Love Boat in Protaras is a really good sports bar. Hope you enjoy Cyprus. Thanks for the great video. June 15th can’t come quick enough. 😊

I went there for 3 months in 2019. It’s beautiful. Just gets a bad rep because it’s classed as one of party places
With 31 blue flag beaches crystal clear sea fantastic choice of restaurants friendly people could be further from Blackpool. For those who want fish and chips and freezing cold sea stay in Blackpool.
Nothing like Blackpool if u had turned right at Tommy bar up Nissi avenue beautiful restaurant all family friendly lovely beaches
But it’s not like Blackpool. Things are actually open.

Hi Kevin,I can’t understand people saying it’s like Blackpool in the sun, I know not everyone likes the same things but you cater for everyone in your videos, most holiday resorts have a lively place for the younger generation if you want it quiet there will be places like that as well, if they don’t like your content they should watch someone else.
Get yourself on the next plane out of there.
