I love you sir! Listening to you ALWAYS gets my mind going! I can honestly attribute at least 1/2 of my weekly business ideas to something that you’ve said to spark an idea. In don’t steal your ideas but they are definitely springboards for my own! 💕
I love this. Honestly, I don't have the resources to be able to meet successful people, so I feel like you guys drop so many gems for us. Your show is a diamond in the rough and I am surprised you guys don't have more followers. In a way, I am selfishly glad however, I know soon you guys will skyrocket soon. Thank you for mentoring me in an indirect way. You guys have helped me think of so many new ideas that now I am having information overload and its hard to pick one and stick to one.
Massive respect for putting these ideas out there. They are not all original, but inspire people te take the leap to become an entrepreneur. I'm an entrepreneur myself, made a $2M exit last time and now want to try again in the AI space! I'm also all for openness and sharing ideas. It's all about the team and execution.

I think you mentioned the last idea in previous podcasts with sam, where AI would connect to all sites and apps that you use and then follow your instructions and do tasks for you. I think it is a great idea

Great pod and great ideas. Thanks Shaan. My main worry about idea number 1, is when an Ai agent can do things for anyone and everyone. How do I provide value to the market place and profit in the process? It will be great for the big main companies providing the thing... but I worry about there being enough opportunities for the little guy!

Idea number 1 used in a business format like the paperclip and ecommerce example sounds a bit like process mining, which is now starting to use generative AI and machine learning to do this

Great ideas Shaan, I thought about AI therapy but the liability risk just seemed a little too high. 6 months ago I created an AI dating app and it's blown up, so I agree with the sentiment. There has never been a better time to get stuck into an AI startup.

Beg to differ on success of AI powered therapy bots. Personally I feel it’ll just aggravate the situation given that the person knows that end of the day he’s getting help from an inanimate object … probably the power could be shifted to assigning supervisory therapists handling such bots in hospitals which generate prescriptive advices based on symptoms submitted by the patient and generate best treatment practices using therapy data tuned LLMs.

You mentioned you worked for a while to just generate ideas for businesses. Who was that for and what is the rule called? I feel like I could thrive there
My partner is a therapist and has a private practice, love your take on therapy for everyone! I often joke that the field in general is about 10-15 years behind with technology. Most therapists are still writing progress notes/intakes on paper and not every client wants therapy via zoom.

24:52 this is going to be the biggest innovation in education. Bigger than any tech in education to date. It’s not going to just be for young people. After a battery of questions are answered AI should be able to determine route deficiencies, then rebuild from there almost like corrupted data on a hard drive. In this case, the hard drive would be your brain. That sounds terrible but that’s the best way I could explain it.

The self doing to-do list would essentially be Artificial Generative Intelligence (AGI) which is currently OpenAI's company objective. When this technology is completed, it is envisioned to have the functionality of a "coworker" that you can hire, give a task to, and have that task serve as a base for training, which then enables that "coworker" to effectivly do whatever job you need them to.
As for the technology today, you can implement multimodal systems with the existing large language models (llm) and use robust logic processes to allow more specific "todo" tasks to be completed.
@@WhoINeededIf I were to build a wireframe for SaaS on Figma, how would I go about implementing these multimodal systems with existing llm's? (I don't have that deep of a technical background) Hire someone on Fiverr or Upwork for that process?
The first step would be understanding if you need a "multimodal" system. This is of course dependant on your use case. For some applications you may need a much more indepth solution that involves pleanty of prompt engineering or LLM fine-tuning with your own curated training data while in others the existing LLM's are capable with minimal configuration.@@bballa211

Warehouse Idea: I think this solution would solve the retail-theft problem. With an automated warehouse system, you could turn any retail establishment into a giant vending machine,
As technology advances it moves it's deliverables along the DIKW continuum: Data => Information = > Knowledge => Wisdom, each step of which becomes more valuable. I'm working on a modest project that will deliver at the Knowledge level. BTW, I'm a lifelong entrepreneur on a small scale with exits of $12M, $4M and $15M.
I see mindgeek themselves investing in this to cut out the biggest overheads- human actors 😅

Also - jumping in to say idea #2 + robots has an entire Futurama episode devoted to it - whoever figures this out makes a ton of money. The family biz a few generations ago was the first physical flight simulator ( the Link Trainer - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Link_Trainer ) ... maybe need to reboot the family biz ... physical 'trainer' + AI + idea #2 == profit go up! :P
General enthusiasm without the specifics = nearly every self help book I’ve read… however joking aside, this was very very informative and given me a lot to build on, I’m desperate to be in this space (Tech) in fact I’d say I’d love to fly over to the states and meet SHAAN one day, which hopefully I will be free do do in the next 6 months.

Bro looked very chiselled face in '16 when I first came across him on a Nathan Latka interview ep. I'd forgive him if he was doing some night shift work whilst running his startups, but he'd relatively comfortable upbringing so it must be genetics.
