    it should be divide with 2
    not 12....

    the 6 is in a confusion state sir check it 2nd and 3rd steps in 2nd step 6 is multiplying with one term only but why did it multiplied with such a big term in 3rd step sir

      Correct, of course! This is applied when average rankings are assigned to repeating variables.
      If no variables are repeating, rankings are assigned normally without averaging! In this case, we use the formula R = 1 - (6(sigma D²)/n(n² - 1)

    where did you get 44? The summation of D squared is 41, then if you add the m1 and so on is not 44

      Brother 1st add that bracket 3*8+2*3+2*3 ...that gaves u 36 then divide this with that denomination 12.... What the answer then 3only ...so just add 3 in 41....it gaves 44 ..😊

      Result interpretation; a higher value of R shows that the two people or rank assigning mechanisms are allocating alike ranks and there is a uniformity and consistency in the decision

      Answer would remain between -1 and +1. Ultimately you have to square the difference it doesn’t matter you take r1-r2 or r2-r1. You can choose to assign highest rank number to lowest value of vice-Versa it won’t impact the outcome until you follow same pattern of rank assignment for both the series
