I like all these natural assets and scattering things, Bagapie, Ivy, GeoScatter ecc... But these type of addon are reaaaally expensive. I have to spend something like 70$ to get bagaIvy, and other 50$ to get this. Idk, looks a little bit overpriced especially if we consider that Blender is a Free Software and a lot of good addons (hardops + boxcutter), (Archipack), (Meshmachine), ecc... Have more reasonable price than this type of things. I love baga addons but if i want them all i have to spend something like 500€ 😅 if not more. Same for poligoniq addons...
definitely doesn't justify the price, especially if you're not working for a landscaping company. While I like the objects, i don't need the scatter junk.
@@MercuryRisingFast imho Just make them 20$ each and with 100 bucks u can take the majority of things. What does mean that for an Ivy generator based on geometry nodes i have to pay 79€. I know, there are a lot of flowers and foliage but still too much for a free software that Is not still an industry standard. Maybe It will be but Blender Is not a complete software, his develope Is slower compared to others 3D softwares (and this Is normal for a free software) and because of this Blender Need a lot of integration with open source addons. But how can u compete with the industry if u have to pay all these Money at the start, i think that no one that work professionaly in some 3D industry can use vanilla Blender.
To be honest as an archviz artist who uses blender mainly I never get to use these addons. They are basically way too specific for some little use cases and the price is too high.
@@SantoSVD98 I only have Botaniq, Vegetation addon, and traffiq addon installed. Whenever I need to have another models I just go to 3dsky or dimensiva
