Black though has been around for ever. One of the best in hip hop in my opinion from Philadelphia. Under rated and under appreciated. And this story shows the humility that makes me believe in him more...thanks for sharing... This is great..
I came here expecting to see another fire performance from Black Thought. What I got was even better: an epic glimpse into the life of a god MC....awesome and hilarious.
Damn, I was expecting him to drop a killer 50 bar verse
"Tariq Trotter Who is he?"
Why that is the greatest MC alive.
+straifaces Facts.
straifaces you better ask somebody.. oh you did.
straifaces duly
straifaces I just was about to say that lol.
Thought is elite of Hip Hop MC ing along with Nas and Andre 3000
No just no. Black is above them all. The man can even sing. He can do it all. Nough said.
Andre 3000? 🤔
Black Thought=/>3k and both EASILY>Nas.
Don't forget Scarface and Tupac
Back from the future: "Got profiled by a few cops.... too hot to charge" ;)
Hilarious

Me Trotter. You are a king among pesants. The voice of every black generation. I doubt that humanity is worthy of your greatness but thank you for the candle's amount of light you provide in this dark world so that some young black men may find the way to a higher consciousness.
Rare powerful unique infinite healing in his story and remarkable expression under appreciated true breed shunned because he speaks reality in his craft much respect to the roots big hub Kamal dice raw and all collaborations wit Bilal wale dhrissette Michelle just a name a few healing to overcome bad times dream performances I remember when they came to Pittsburgh and performed at the metropole during early 90's with Jill Scott straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band stood off in the wing and watched the show. Nuff said.
Great stage presence
Coldest rapper with blood pumping through his heart
Bruce Springsteen is super sweet guy, I met him at a System of a Down concert when I was security staff. Black Thought = LEGEND.
When they laughed when he said he never felt more American. It wasn't received how it was mean. Think about it. They laughed at the Idea....
The art of storytelling
As i sit in Lancaster County...only a week removed from our fine prison myself...Thought...I feel you!!!!
missing NYC and Lake Merritt for real right now.
Just Love.
Exquisite Wizard
Saw Black Thought's look alike today
HE'S THE MOST LEDGIBLE AMBASSADOR OF OLD YOLKIO!
Weird that so many people in the Comments section (and in BAM's theater) see hilarity in the pain and humiliation embedded in this story. Maybe it's because the people watching have no idea the reality of navigating this world in "living color." Maybe. I don't know. Maybe the speakers before him were extremely funny, so that emotion carried to this one and they saw it through that lens. Maybe. I don't know. Maybe they have no empathy and no idea how these moments tear away at the fabric of one's soul. Maybe. I don't know.
Thank you for pointing that, I thought I was just a weird soul cause I was thinking so hard about the actuality of the story.
Sometimes you gotta laugh to keep from crying bro
Whites will not ever be able or 3v3n begin to fanthom the struggles of our people.....real talk....
