One of your best video's! The rear view is better to really see the hand action you're talking about. As I've practiced this... I find that the swing becomes more fluid and keeping the triangle in place is easier.

Is having a more vertical swing plane like miguel cabrera, mike trout, or joey votto good if your a small guy or do you have to swing more horizontal as a smaller guy?

Mitch Goudreau Hey Mitch, good question. Generally as a smaller guy, a flatter swing plane will hit more low line drives.

You said Cabrera is one of the best line drive hitters so doesn't his swing produce low line drives as well?

Mitch Goudreau Yes, except his line drives turn into home runs! haha

Like this very true but in using your hands be aware of your bone structure the radius bone in particular they go to your elbow the elbows are levels that move the shoulders l could go on ok babe Ruth l think called it breaking the handle Bonds had that move look at Ralph Kiner. His swing as well my dad was a hard hitting minor leagurer in the 50s swing resembled Kimers he got on the wrong side of Branch Rickey later while working for the Giants he was as scout player development asked by Alex Pompez to work with the latno players after latinoes dominated most elbow up guys like. My father Dick Wilson Americans were standing like statues no bat loop as is shown later my dad was with the angels he gave those moves to Tim Salmon l don't know to what extent but during the times he was with the Giants seems like Pittsburg and SF were the two leaders in signing latinoes. My dad's moves l copied since l was a kid l got mad at him and joined the Navy but in high school at least 2 teams interested in me n y Yankees and pirates l hit a ball 430 ft at 16 hit a home run off a guy 2 yrs later in the bigs and won 181 games lm pushing 80 and still doing it for fast pitch softball against heat l choke up and split the grip you ain't got the heat l got a babe Ruth grip. Lately l got into looking at the bone structure.lm still pounding the ball baby they used to call that type of swing pop having pop my dad said that at a winter meeting with the Giants Frank Robinson replied that's right if you can't do that you can't hit
