My thoughts on the Nike Ja 1 after having played with 2 different colorways.
A great first signature sneaker for Ja Morant.

Great review as always!
I really wanted to try these but the lack of cushioning (on paper anyway) made me stay away. I’m used to shoes like the Cut 2, Jordan 37, etc but the traction is very tempting.
My friend has the white grey pair and his traction squeaks loud, even on dusty courts.

I was surprised by how comfy they felt but if you’re used to those extremely soft and plush set ups these might very well be too stiff for you. Maybe you can try them on in store and then see for yourself 🙌

@@ls_hoops Might have to try them in store for sure! I have been trying shoes and sending them back to try all the other ones (Nike 60 day return policy). That way I know which shoe works best for me when I settle on one!

i bought my ja 1s three days ago and the traction is ELITE like i havent played in hoop shoes with this good traction. the cushion is great but it could be a little bit better.i really like the air zoom feature and i feel like i have more bounce in them. i really recommend this shoe if your on a budget.

Everyone I need help here I can't decide between Book 1 ''Hike'' color way or Ja 1.. I've seen so many reviews and I think they are both great shoes but I need your opinions. I am a shifty guard how shoots a lot from mid range jumper and I like to finish to the rim. I am 5'10 and 185 pounds. Thanks ini advance guys !!!

So imo: the JA 1 is more supportive and has better cushion in the forefoot. Traction is the same. The Book 1 has better materials and cushion in the heel. Just choose from that what’s more important to you :)
