People don't snitch for variouis reasons: a) They don't want to be killed like the victim. b) They don't trust the po po (who could then put their name on the street as a snitch). c) They don't want cops to keep asking them to be a snitch, spy. d) They have family and don't want them "touched"

The eye witnesses were afraid for their lives. You can't judge them for not talking. They still lived in the hood and would not have witness protection if they told.

Met RUN DMC during their 1986 tour with Beastie Boy. DJ Hurricane was talking to us at the hotel and casually asked if we wanted to meet the group. A minute later they roll up in a limo, walk up to us and Hurricane made introductions. All were such nice guys, signed autographs, shook hands and saw the show an hour later. Jay’s death was senseless.

Just like 2pac's murder, it doesn't matter how long ago it happened, people still need to be held accountable. It's a shame that the witnesses have been holding back critical info for this long. I understand their concern for their own and their family's safety, but sometimes you have to do the right thing.
