L5 S1 Spinal Fusion Surgery - What to Expect

Just a quick update on the progress after my spinal fusion surgery.
Edit: I also forgot to add a few things. The surgery I had required an incision similar to a cesarean section in my lower abdomen. Then they had to move my intestines and other things out of the way to get access to the front of my spine. They removed the remaining disc and inserted a metal cage in its place. Then I was turned over and two more incisions were made in my back to insert 4 screws and two rods. I also forgot to mention that it was discovered that I have a few genetic anomalies. I'm also starting to believe that my high pain tolerance is another one. I've always felt pain, but nothing ever hurts as much as I think it should.
