They sacrificed themselves for the world's peace. They could choose to rule the world with glory and fame but in the end their love for each other was way more stronger than that. It's a bittersweet ending since Lanxi only had 10yrs left to live but seeing the scene where they lived happily together, away from the royalty life and the court's matters is much more better than I thought. Hei-Bai Fengxi is a pair of characters that I would not be able to forget, at least not until I found another cdrama couple that possess a similar quality as them.

I don't look at this is as historical more fantasy so for me historical is her in LOVELIKE THE GALAXY and she was magnificent in that. This woman is a magnet and she elevates every scene she is in and who ever she is in with it.
when i first saw lanxi brother it thought he is the one will make trouble but later on i just feel that he is the one will support his younger brother bcoz both are truly sibling unlike the 3rd one.. i wish he also married with quiwu..😊
