Vedas are too hard and complex to learn by own. But you can surely read Puranas as they are easy to understand. We also keep Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, Mahabharat and Puranas at home and read them. I've read a few of the Puranas and I'm almost done with the Mahabharat. Even you should try reading the Puranas pertaining to the deity you like the most! Translations are available online and a few of them are also available in hard-copy. Good luck!

Veda literally means 'knowledge'. Hence no one person can say I know it all. Only person in recent times who has come closer to know it better was Adi Shankaracharya. He is also considered as incarnation of Shiva as a normal human cannot comprehend it as he did. He simplified and revived it's knowledge during his time. Vedas actually go beyond the 4 documented books. It's knowledge was passed from a Guru to disciple verbally or through recitation which has to "listened" - meaning "Shruti". Moreover this knowledge was intercepted by Rishis and they jotted it down as they listened it without adding any personal opinions. Hence they are considered sacred and pure. The sanskrit used in vedas cannot be fully understood by even today's sanskrit scholar since it's too cryptic. Hope this helps ! 🙏 Jai shri Ram🙏
the best part in hinduism is we believes that everyone has a different personality and therefore everyone has a different emotions and god is nothing but a reflection of emotions(bhakti) for e.g. a women perform different roles in life like as a daughter as a mother as a sister as a wife. she loves her father similarly she loves her husband her son also. that means love is exist in every relationship the only different thing is expression of love. similary there are many form of god in hinduism but the feeling or bhakti remains the same. that's why hinduism never tried to popularise in the world because no one can forcefully change the feeling or emotion of others

I am not a Hindu, and I am very concerned about the way how Hindus present the Veda. To think that the modern-day Hindu concept of creationism or cosmology predates Jainism or Buddhism is historically no true. Even today, schools do not agree even on simple questions such as who created the universe. Unfortunately, Hindu scholars just do not explain this to Hindu practitioners!
