I definitely know some parents who would be tempted to pretend to be abducted by aliens so they really can go on a vacation and get a break from the kids so this sounds like a plausible theory to me 😆 This scenario looks like there’s actually a lot to it based on the required tasks! Definitely NOT cheating if it’s in the game! 😊 So all this time I never even knew kids could be taken by Social Services for low grades! I knew it was something in the older Sims games, but for some reason didn’t think it was in Sims 4. The death thing takes it a little far in my opinion; it’s not like Stewie got taken for being starved. I shudder to think if kids just unalived when they failed their classes for too long irl 😬
In all the years I've been playing TS4, I've never had a kid drop below a D grade, so I'd never seen it either. I had heard it was a thing still, from other RUclipsrs' videos, but I didn't know how it worked. Now I do - yay? They've obviously messed up the coding on the 'kids being taken away' thing. You're right, I think they forgot that it's not just for starving. Wild!
I will take a look - I have a vague feeling that at one point I saw an MCCC setting that told it to move kids who are taken away to new families, so hopefully I activated that!
Yeah, it’s the problem with rotational gameplay. With the benefit of hindsight, I could have edited Harvestfest so the kids went to school that day, I guess…
@@AussieCassPlays yeah, maybe. I have a base game 2.0 (10 years later) save that is rotational, but I havent gone past the first family yet, so this makes me want to test it out to see how things work in the sims 4. I have been playing sims 2 rotationally🙂

My kids started as C students.... I think possibly your family was a bad pick for the challenge lol
Are you kidding me?! That's hilarious!!
You could see if you can find him in the world or with the familiy tree and get him back into the familiy

Hmmm... I don't know what you could have done differently.... Usually a new sims week starts on Sunday....
