Artists like Excision, Flux Pavilion, zeds dead and whoever more Just keep with the same groundwork. Which definitely gave the genre and Bumble effect and everything just went around in a circle with no-where else to connect Also, people's perspectives/visions on dubstep weren't getting better. People thought of dubstep as "more electronic music". Everyone thought it was something else and not it's own. I do think when people when through the acceptance of the dubstep genre. people still had it Classified it's like a "sub-genre". Which bottlenecked the potential of the style of music. And I think Skrillex Helps with that. Giving the impression that it has its own weight. you know? In that. . . His music is catchy and very digestible to listen to I mean. A lot of dubstep music is a bone to chew on. It's every distinct and odd. It isn't generic to mainstream music. liking dubstep isn't a genre you can smoothly sink into. finding the right style, artist, music is something that can have people turn away from it. as there is no set style. blablabla I'm just glad I grew up without the dogshit people call music today. and times where music wasn't just a huge dumpster fest. know what the origin of what something that has grown is awesome and a sight, very nostalgic

I think that over the years, producers have managed to break down the recipe for those monster sounds - they have the ingredient list, but they don't have the exact proportions and instructions. After extensive youtube tutorials digging, this guy is probably the one who got the closest to it : ruclips.net/video/n6yJWv7OWxo/видео.html. That's peak FM8 monster right here! The only thing lacking might be the more 'vocal' aspect of the SMANS growl sound. Maybe this sound is meant never to be replicated. One thing I love about this era of his music was that is sounded super computerized. Like, nothing about it was organic. It was the most digital sounding style of music i've ever heard. It also had so much anger and emotion. Very few artists could manage that with electronic music. Especially at the time this came out.

Man I never comment, but I don’t know what other video on RUclips from nearly 14 years ago has me standing in the kitchen with a huge smile on my face. This drop is just so incredible and I remember hearing this after about a year of listening to other songs but for some reason this one seemed mythical. This comment goes out to all of those in future years who stumble across. Skrillex proved what we could do with the help of technology and demonstrated the skill and detail of a human brain/imagination.
There's no changing my mind... Skrillex during this time period was an absolute BEAST. His dubstep was just on another level... I mean, this is literally the shit that brought dubstep and basically the entire EDM scene into the mainstream in the US.
It wouldn't surprise me if he did get a bit burned out on these tracks, playing them night after night for a few years (he famously played 300+ shows in 2011 alone). Guy needed to branch out and experiment or else he might have gone off music completely.

Skrillex was creating insane dubstep like this, that’s still completely relevant and up to date today.... more than 10 years ago. Absolute masterpiece.

Man I never comment, but I don’t know what other video on RUclips from nearly 14 years ago has me standing in the kitchen with a huge smile on my face. This drop is just so incredible and I remember hearing this after about a year of listening to other songs but for some reason this one seemed mythical. This comment goes out to all of those in future years who stumble across. Skrillex proved what we could do with the help of technology and demonstrated the skill and detail of a human brain/imagination.
One of his more under rated songs but by far one of my favourites.

It wouldn't surprise me if he did get a bit burned out on these tracks, playing them night after night for a few years (he famously played 300+ shows in 2011 alone). Guy needed to branch out and experiment or else he might have gone off music completely.
