I also love that Fjord, a half-Orc is the face of the group and charming de facto leader. I like handsome, charming characters that are usually seen as dumb brutes.

This moment was amazing. The M9 were not as bonded as VM was when first met them in Kraghammer. I thought that they would never be a close-knit family. Beau and Caleb differed by so much at this point, and Beau blew up on Caleb. However, Beau apologized and Caleb's reaction and Beau's response to Caleb's reaction was one of the first steps to them becoming a family rather than a group of mercenaries.
im like 5 episodes behind this but im so excited. ive heard that the empire siblings get a lot of development later and that'd be so cool to see. this art style is freaking fantastic and the character designs are PERFECT
I'm so glad someone did an animation/animatic of this moment. This scene really redeemed Beau for me, and I love it when the fandom commemorates character defining moments, because it's what Critical Role deserves. Well done.
It shows how immature a lot of Critical Role fans are when they seemingly can't seperate characters from players, makes me want to avoid the main video's comment sections altogether
