That was a hoot. I’m totally digging the videos and BfS. Throwing little trebles from the bank can be tough but still really fun. Who doesn’t love a challenge.

Hey Justin; Luvin your vids... been BFS fishin for 1-1/2 years now, luv it !!! still have all my standard gear, and even put BFS spools and aftermarket bearings in a couple of my Tatula reels. running 6# fluoro, 6# mono, & 8# co-polymer on my set-ups (5 total), I put 10# mono on my modified reels, finesse fishing sure has upped my numbers, not always big-guns, but always catching !! Tight lines Brother !!

Can't sleep on the whopper plopper 60, I know its a small bait but I've caught some big bass on it... maybe not for Texas... but Big Smallmouth up here in PA. 18-20" smallies destroy this bait! So do all the little guys too! Great video!

I think this video has convinced me to pick up a BFS setup. Going to keep the spinning gear strictly as a drop shot rig. Tired of cutting off all that fluoro every time I switch from dropshot to something else. Thanks brother for the video!

How do you like that kast king reel? I thought about ordering one. I have a Curado bfs reel but it worked for a couple of months, then I had constant problems out of it. I’m wondering if it is like a Chinese clone?

You ever make it to South Florida for a couple days, I can promise you a couple 10 lb+ bass. The state also put Peacock bass in Palm Beach, Dade, and Broward counties. You know the fisherman have moved the fish north as well. I live in Palm Beach. You haven't caught a bass until you catch a peacock. I got stitches from one biting me. They are mean as hell, l almost want to put a wire leader on my line but it will scare the largemouth. My average largemouth is about 5 lbs. Those Guadalupe bass would drive me crazy. I noticed your largemouth don't really have a stripe on them, that's what they use to feel vibrations, or that's what I been told. I grew up close to Lake Guntersville, there is a dam there and you can get your boat under it. There are so many fish eating fish that got chopped up in the turbines it's crazy. I caught some huge stripers there. The lake is also legendary for largemouth. I've also caught some 80 lb+ catfish in the Tennessee River. Nothing compares to the lakes in Florida though. There is one lake you can only fish one day a week "Friday" and it's insane. I like to go to the glades and fish by google maps off the side of the road. Water is clear and a ton of oxygen. You drop one guy off drive half a mile then walk until he catches up, then do it again. I have caught 4 bass over 10 lbs. that way. We had a bad drought some years back and Okeechobee only had water where they dredge the middle so big boats can cross east to west right in the middle of the lake, but I have caught some big ones there finally. That lake that's only open one day is opened into Okeechobee so the bass will restock themselves and big ones you don't have to wait to grow. I don't use a leader here, I use a black sharpie and color about 3' of line and they don't seem to see it. I run straight braid on everything, you have to because of the huge bass and grass. I hate the bottom here it has that mossy small grass everywhere. Also most of the water is stained so no light color lures unless fishing on top. Nothing like a Peacock bass hitting a frog, or a 10 lb.+ largemouth. You gotta hit me up if you ever come down here. Florida has 6,431 lakes and a million canals, no I don't know the exact canal count but it's a lot. The only saltwater fishing I do is Snook, but bull sharks are everywhere and will bite anything. If you get down here but can't hook up, buy some shiners and set the bobber 3' deep. Put that on a grass line and you'll catch huge bass. That's how I catch 80% of my 8lb+ bass. I have caught over 20 8lb+ bass this summer.

You should’ve never started! You’re not gonna be able to put it down! I have caught some 5s on the whopper 60. You have to earn every fish on the ultralight tackle! I feel you on the low water levels, my home lake in Fort Worth is 10 feet down the whole north end is very very low. You’ve gotta try some duo realis jerkbaits or a jackall baby giron glidebait on the bfs in that clear water! Any chance they are gonna make a 2.8” panorama?

Ya brother been super tough summer I actually didn’t even go out but a couple times in august and skunked both freakin times 😞 but I’ve been out twice since it’s cooled down here in pv and I caught 5 both trips, most were on the 1/8th oz 😅ball head with a 3 in spark shad and the others I was able to get some good ones on a walking bait which I LOVE so I’m 🙏🏻 this fall is full of rain and good fishing on the home pond ! I went on my last day off last week and ramp is hanging on but just about to the end of it but I’m launching from the dang shore if I have to lol I’m down to fishing out of my little bass raider cause boat is out of commission 😢but still able to get out so trying to stay grateful. Love ur content brother keep it up Justin and one of these days I would love to fish with ya

Cool little lure and I've gotten lots of fish on em. I'm in the habit of ripping it pretty hard and the 60 spins on me but the 75 doesn't and isn't much bigger. Down here in South Florida my best topwater sessions with the biggest fish are usually mid-afternoon.

The Z-Man micro chatter bait works great on BFS, both in the regular and the flashbacks micro, with the flashback just put either a 2 or 3 inch paddle tail or flat top minnows, works great. Keep up the great videos.

Alot of people that's getting into bfs and don't have alot of setups use 10lb braid to a leader. That way they can change from top water with mono leader to under water levels with a fluoro leader.

Great video! Give the jackall pikupiku bait a try on the bfs.. cast it out and small twitches.. its a topwater that looks like a small dying minnow.... I've had some pretty good luck with my bfs using that tied up on 8lb braid to 8lb mono leader

Hey Justin, I just wanted to comment to share a RUclips suggestion for you. So I saw your vid on my home page and (like I always do) I go to my subscription page to see what everyone has posted. Went scrolling through to see what I would wanna watch and got all the way to the end and thought “wait, where was Justin’s vid?” So I searched harder and found it. My realization was that it was because all the other guys I watch had Thumbnails that were brighter than yours.
I say all that to say that making your thumbnails brighter might help grab people’s attention more. I’m not a RUclipsr so obviously disregard if you don’t think itd help. Anyways man, thanks for putting out the heater content! Wanna see you hit that 100k!

I made the thumbnail on this video brighter. If you see this, let me know if it looks better to you now. All displays are different so it might look different from one device to another. Got it about as bright as I can get it on my end. Thanks again.

@@JustinRoyal it definitely stands out more now on my end. And just for reference I’m on IPhone. It appears brighter than the ads and RUclips shorts now so it definitely grabs my attention better.
