Just got my bottle today, i can see why you adore it so much. Its next to top of the line offerings from other artisnals. I cant wait to layer it with ruh ghulab too someday. Its just wow. The way it transients wow.
This intro reminds me of my early insustrial american antique sewing machine collection. No one understands why i place and organize them so beautifully. Because i have a passion. The same passion you have for smells.
I followed you from your earliest video logs... Personally I started to collect attars from end of 2013but wasn't finding a good self- guiding thought, you made it...you are really a friend & guide & philosopher in perfumery..... And lastly I again thank you for introducing Tajul Bakshi... His oils are great...
Thank you for making these videos. These really help lighten my mood. Your collection is really tempting and mouth watering. I have a very small collection of Oudh oils from Ajmal that includes Dahn Al Oudh Amiri, Kalakassi, Fayiz (Indonesian Oudh) and Cambodi. And also a few of their oils like Zayed, 750, 60. I consider myself inexperienced in this area and my nose cannot pickup the difference between any of the Indian Oudhs. For me Kalakassi, Amiri are one and the same from start to end. In fact after an hour my nose would not identify the difference between any of the Indian oudhs I have mentioned above. I hope that I get matured enough to spot the difference as I really wanna dig in and have that beautiful experience you talk about in your videos.
I thought I was addicted to oudh. I have 26 bottles that I'm proud of but good Lord you got me beat. Look like a oudh store. There's no way you don't smell good at all times 😊
Your English is so great I presumed you were broadcasting from England. Heard Russian Adam talking about Ajmal and definitely want to get one of these.
Wow great...you have answered my long Lasting confusion about the ultimate in oud... going to try Now... And sir..your voice modulation is superb...made me to listen full
Hi Nikhil Bhai. Thanks for your spellbinding explanation. Fantastic! However, as you mentioned your bottle is about 5years old, does Ajmal have the same quality (aged oil) available with them now? Any idea? Thanks once again.
Would you please tell me if/why the Ajmal oud called "TOYOUB" was discontinued? I have been ordering it from Bangalore through people I know that I live there (Microsoft) for almost a decade now, and have it brought to me here in the U.S, up until maybe 2018 or so, when I was told that they no longer make the "Toyoub" version. I have been in love with this oud and always got dozens of compliments daily when I used it. Nothing else has compared to it, from my personal experience. Where can I find it ? And if it's no longer made, what would be the closest substitute to it, in your opinion ? Thank you for your attention, and looking forward to your reply
Just aww stuck to see you collection sir. Hope I will also make my own Almirah full of oud oils. Thank you very much for showing your collection and introduce a new oud oil( new for us 😜). 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Be safe.
Good evening ! Tell me please. And oud malinau oil , Cambodian, chanthaburi has . Do they have an expensive fragrance ? That is, just the ood itself, does it smell very expensive?and the status ?
I like your blue oud-bag in the start of the video. Where can I get one? Also Ajmal's website does not specify much about the oils, some are even categorized as "concentrated perfume oil" when checking "fragrance details". How do I know more about what is in the bottle; age, origin, purity, wild/harvest, and so on?
The very virtue that makes oud, OUD, this oil has it all covered. Truly said. Its way beyond expectation for a commercial oil. Comparable to oils like Panibari reserve and drydown even to Meitei👍
Yet another informative video regarding the Indian oud oil .. It really pleases me whenever you upload your video here or at your hindi Channel.. i keep waiting for it impatiently. Love from Pakistan ❤️.. Peace ✌️
Wow that’s incredible. Who knew it’s not all about the price when it comes to quality Oud! By the way have you tried the Ajmal’s only claimed pure Oud limited edition spray in India called Ajmal 235 Oudh? What’s your experience with that product?
I have an unusual question, I hope you can help us :-) My best internetfriend has lost his sense of smell (when he was little) but wants to smell good for work and dates. Can you recommend something that is universally pleasing? Since I am just starting to dive into fragrances and like fragrances that are unusual here in Europe, I have a hard time recommending him something. We were discussing and I suggested to him a few classics but he wants to be more recognizeable but at the same time appealing to the biggest amount of people as possible. How it smells is irrelevant as he doesn't smell it himself. You are one of the only people I can trust. Looking forward to hearing from you and keep up your great vids! Bought a bunch of incense sticks and searching through all your oud recommendazions at the moment :-)
@@nikhilsfrags Thank you for your reply! I think he is willing to spend enough since he also asked me if Creed is any good. Burning Kyara to scent his clothes is out of the question though :-))

Thanx for this Review. Nikhil Bhai my taste has totally changed after using Oud for 15 yrs now. I dnt like Oud of any other country except India i.e. Assam/Hindi and i now i dont like refined/designer Ouds anymore.. I think they are good for west. I love only traditional Hindi ouds. To be honest till the time there is no dark, woody, animalic, barnyard notes.. I dnt find any intrest in it. In a user friendly language, to me the best if which the Indian females hate most.. Hahaha.. They just dnt like Oud, Tuscan Leather, La Yuqawam etc :) Ajmals Dehn al oud Amiri is an awesome oud, I love it and so is Ajmal's Khasul Khas.. 750 AED.. Superb, Best Oud oil by Ajmal.. Totally different level. Must Try. The only thing is that if u have contacts with good distillers then you can get a really good quality but at comparatively at a lower price. And also Oud sold by Ajmal at 12k are not 100% pure and then dnt even claim same. Mixed with Boya or frm 3rd Jaal.

Excellent review !! I like my Ouds heavy and strong. Ever since my experience with hindi oud oils I have focused my interest on them. Recently I have purchased Oud from Sylhet region. Absolutely heavy on the barnyard note and projects and lasts for hours. After an hour or two it turns extremely sweet; definitely try it if you haven’t. Also I’m finally going to purchase my first artisanal oud (Ensar Oud). But I know it’s also going to cost me a fortune. After watching this video of D O Amiri, I’m contemplating on which one I should buy. Obviously Ajmal is a huge company therefore the quality is always questioned. I would like to hear your suggestion regarding my purchase ?
Exotic Scents Ensar infact imo focuses more on ouds from further south or Southeast Asia. As far as the Sylheti oil I own it’s aged for approx. 2 years. I have contacted Ajmal and it seems they sell the D O Amiri for a much higher price in the Middle East market. Thank you for your suggestion and I will contact Zakir and see what they have to offer 👍🏼
@@nikhilsfrags Assam, Tripura, Manipur, and several other regions of India have excellent oud oils. Agarwood Assam and Tajul have excellent pure oils. You have a lot of experience with oils so I'm somewhat disappointed in your assessment of Dehn Al Oud Amiri. I do understand if you say you enjoy and favor the scent, progression, and performance of it over your other oils subjectively, but as is listed on the Ajmal website, it is a concentrated perfume oil aka CPO. A CPO is not a pure essential oil, CPO's may contain some small % of pure essential oil but they also contain petroleum based aroma chemicals, synthetics, "flavor enhancers", and scent extenders. Amiri is NOT a pure essential oil and should not be compared to a pure essential oil. You may already know that because you mentioned how some others do GCMS which show purity or adulteration. If so, you have a responsibility to be transparent about the product you review so that someone unknowing does not compare this to pure oud. If you don't know with the amount of exposure you have, then I'm disappointed that you can't tell the difference.
