11:00 CRT TVs are popular with the retro video game crowd because: 1. Light gun games rely on the electron gun to function, and won't work with modern LCDs. 2. LCD TVs have to process the analog picture signal to display it on the screen which introduces a tiny bit of lag. Imperceptible to the average person, but makes for life/death at advanced speeds. 3. Older games took advantage of the light bleed to give the illusion of more colors or smoother color transitions. CRTs pretty much aren't made anymore, and people see them as archaic and unwieldly, plus with the conversion to digital broadcast, they're kind of useless without additional gear. So most people just tossed them.
When I was downsizing I saved some of my better things for the veterans. The sun company came and picked up the stuff, left a terrible mess in my yard. When I call to tell them I didn't appreciate that, I was calling a place in Florida..😮. And that's when I learned that third party company takes everything down to Florida. Shop the resale shops in Florida maybe Goodwill has relationship what's the veterans I'm not sure anyway happy shopping

😊I haven't put up Christmas deco in 20 yrs, my basement is full of totes from my great grandmother's decorations to mine, I'm 69, was really into at one time. Anyway, told my daughter to law she's gotta deal with it later...MUCH LATER😊
