That’s how a true leader acts : being a model for the youth Priceless for those who were there and for those watching far way Wish I had a LCS like yours when I was a kid Awesome
@@GDubsCollects It was a Quickley Donruss auto /15 (# match) for a Topps Traded Pujols RC. He loves baseball so the Pujols fits better in his collection lol
Don’t let your son sell his cards if he loses interest in the hobby because I guarantee he will regret it when he picks the hobby back up. Everybody comes back 😂
Ryan what your doing for this hobby is beyond amazing. You are the face of this hobby an having a son I’m witnessing first hand how much you and your content is the best thing I’ve this happen in this hobby to date. I love how your putting the money aside to provide entertainment, knowledge, and wisdom to the future. With you at the wheel of this As a father myself I couldn’t be more excited for how much your growing this hobby. An thank you so much.
This is truly awesome. I definitely wish these trade night events were around when I was a kid. So much fun to see the younger collectors getting into the hobby and having fun. That’s what’s this hobby is all about!!! Congrats to Ryan on a sick trade night for kids! Awesome job all around by the cardcollector2 crew to put on this event!!!
You are such a good man Ryan. Keep being amazing brother. The way you work with these kids is inspirational. You are others like you are the reason the hobby will survive.
It would take 38 hours to drive there, but the way you guys treat people would be worth every minute of it. Now the boys and I just need to convince Mom LOL. Great event, Ryan!
This is awesome because I’m a kid and every where I go everyone has 2k cards I don’t have 2k for paper I’m a kid mowing lawns I have 100 bucks THIS IS AWSOME THANKS RYAN UR THE BEST
Dude !!! That is so awesome and you are doing work getting kids back to the real things kids should be doing. You are definitely an ambassador to the hobby and an awesome person giving back to the future in the kids 💯
Man shoutout to you! This is what its all about, the kids! Especially a shoutout to those parents driving their kids x amount hours to this event, im sure those kids are very happy and will forever cherish this moment!
Love everything he's doing, especially teaching to the newbies and younger generation coming into the hobby. From the interactions to how humble he is and just gives so freely and genuinely, he's just a great guy and we need more people in the hobby like him. He's a rare type of human being in a hobby where most are real cutthroat and hope to meet him one day and visit the store. What he's doing here is special and I don't think people realize how special this is and the potential impact it has on these young collector's, they are the future and they are learning from a great guy in a great way. Wish there was something like this in my city of Salt Lake City,Utah. Appreciate your shops if you have them peoples, they are rare now days. Best wishes to you and the team CardCollector2, keep up the great work.
Been a collector here in Ohio for over 30 years, best thing I've seen in this business. Great thing you do for the kids. To you & your staff...kudos guys. Wonderful work.
This is my favorite video on RUclips. How awesome. You made those kids day. I remember when I was a kid, doing business at the card store you as a child was always at the disadvantage. Way to be the one. Cheers.
this is freakin amazing!!! you are a legend Ry! wish me and my boys had something cool like this to attend In Massachusetts, might have to take the ride like some of these people did!
This is so awesome in so many ways. Love the trade approach with the kids in letting them get a great deal. Keep up the great work. Love the channel and content.
This is my first time watching your videos and I already made a decision to sapport first before any other card collector. The stuff that I have seen you do for the people in 1 day , is way more then all these other so called card collectors. You are a true hero to these kids and if I ever ran into I would want to take a picture with you as well . You showed me what a true card collector should look and act like . Thanks man
To say Ryan gets it would be an understatement. So many card shop owners near me are so $$ hungry and greedy. It’s refreshing to see someone like him do all of this cool stuff for the kids and show what the hobby is really supposed to be about. That’s why Ryan will continue to trend upwards while others not so much 🤷🏻♂️ props to you man for setting a great example and making a bunch of kids happy. 🙌🏻
The kid at the counter when the shop first opens up is gonna go places I’ve seen him in a couple videos now including sports card investor and some others he’s is awesome and truly loves the hobby
i wish when I was a kid we had card stores. The only place we could get cards was at 7-11 or Newberry's. Shout out to Ryan for getting the kids involved and giving them some skill!!!
Good stuff, need more solid guys like you thinking about the kids, which will helps the hobby long-term. Lots of work by you and your team and appreciate how humble you are. Plan to see the shop at some point in the future (from Detroit area, MSU fan).
I’m a 7th grade teacher from Northeast Arkansas and I just found this channel. I love your connection with the kids. We have one shop in town and it marketing doesn’t come close to your shop. I’ve never been to Ohio, but ill for sure will come see y’all if I ever do.
Man you’re such an inspiration to the entire hobby. The sheer humility that you emit is something that everyone of all ages can learn from. These kids and our next generation in the hobby needs to have a strong role model they can point at and say “I want to be like him.” It shows if you look at all the handles they’ve got with “2” at the end or “collector3” lol But you’re so patient with the children, you’re always smiling, you have a confidence that isn’t intimidating to them. But overall the most important thing you do IMO is you ask them to check with their parents, sibling or friends and you’re honest with comps. You’d rather lose money on your slabs in the slab counter so that you can jumpstart a kids passion, than focus solely on profit. Screenshot this, in 2025 on this day (August 7th), you will have 1.26 million followers, you’ll be in a new location (if not expanding the current shop or opening a second location all together.) You are inspiring Brother. Keep it up.
1. That was so cool to watch you really are a corner stone for the hobby. 2. That kid who instantly was like hey you gave me one, shoutout to that kids parents thats a boy raised right
That’s how a true leader acts : being a model for the youth Priceless for those who were there and for those watching far way Wish I had a LCS like yours when I was a kid Awesome
