Got that exact one myself, I’m only a very limited diy mechanic but it’s a handy tool for someone like me, saves the hassle of the inconvenience when warning lights come on!
I’ve got the MK808Z - same as MK808S according to Autel supplier . Now my MK808Z was the same it would not recognise some vehicles so you have to register it , update it & if you can connect to wi-if while scanning , it will sort itself out . Mine works flawlessly now & as Jimmy says it has been out a while but undergone many revisions so it is a good scan tool , who ever gets it 👍
Would love this Jimmy, would help me out a lot with one of these diagnostic scanners, thanks for the video. With your videos I managed to fix all my dpf issues.
There seems to be a divide with what happens when the subscription expires on these Autel MK units. Some people comment that after another duration of time after the expiration the Autel wont even scan cars anymore so it becomes a paperweight unless you renew. I might be leaning toward Launch but also wary that they may be doing the same thing..
Just wounded if anyone would no why when BMW dealer plugged in my X5M40MHT 20K on the clock 2021 plate. That a warning light came on I dropped it off no lights on , they recently done service first mot health check fluid change. Code was 36D400 don’t use it for short trips just motorway. They won’t extend my warranty until I pay 175 for full scan, never had a problem before or a light, plus on the way home the light went out, after I stopped and restarted. Hasn’t come back on , would anyone know why this could happen and should I pay the 175 if the lights off now. Just watching your videos and finding this is common amongst many vehicles. Appreciate any advice, find your videos informative thanks 👍
Hi there, the dpf specialist advised me to replace oxygen sensor nr 2 in my Mercedes C 250 2.1 diesel. I want to do it myself. Is that the one downstream a dpf? Thanks for any advice 😊
I have been looking for a scan tool, I saw wez use a launch, I like the look of those, but these look really good too. What would you recommend? I don’t do enough to warrant a subscription fee
Hi jimmy. Could you please guide my if you would choose this or thinkscan 689bt over this ? Thank you. Or anyone that had both and could guide me please
Hi mate not going to manage to get To the show so what I am saying can you please keep me in mind please , sorry for being so forward, just I thought would ask , thank
Deffo a crap design flaw that they don’t charge when it’s plugged in which you would think they would’ve thought about when designing it, especially this one over the Bluetooth version
I suspect all Autel devices of this design are in fact dumb machines. Other than the obvious I believe the difference in prices are down to the data uploaded to it. In my experience, diagnostic machines such as this hate Vauxhall a worse, VAG.

Both are needed if you do lots of different cars but I'd choose the thinkcar 689BT mythinkcar.com/?ref=dnnktcax
10% discount code JIMMYORILEY
Has anyone said your logo should read "O'Rileys Autos, a moving experience"?
Brilliant!
£358 on eBay. The version 9 is available for £549
