I watched this episode with my Mom and Dad they are both old now. We are originally from Berbice. We have not been back to Guyana in years, most of our family are abroad or have died. Your program helps us stay connected to Guyana. It brought back a lot of memories. Keep doing more episodes like these showing the country. Thank you!!!

The goodness continues with the love of family and great memories. Congratulations to the young man on his great scholastic achievement. I see MIT 📚 (one of the many top schools in the States) in his future. May he continue to be blessed. Excellent travel vlog Denny.
This specific video bring back so much memories. I used to visit Sparta alot. Thank you for bringing back some very good childhood memories passing by my uncle Diliph home. I hope one day soon I visit Guyana been too long since I last visited.

Make Guyana proud for you have a President who will back you a million or more percentage. We didn't had those opportunities although we excelled in common entrance. Go for it kiddo. Big up. My Mom was school teacher also but never taught me academics at home ....just home discipline. Trust me she is well known all over the hemisphere.

Denny this is an awesome video. There is nothing like meeting family again after a long time, what a good feeling. You planned a good trip with your sister and family. Really enjoyed watching especially since I don't know much about Essequibo. Good work again!
Hello ARD family, Respect to the ones who gain academic achievements ...Huge congrats to you all. I remember those days in my time when it was GCE. I was not allowed to write 12 subjects in one sitting. Why? I would like to hear back from you guys... why? Danny, ypu have a big heart for this world just like me. I speak the truth and many people don't like the truth. They think they are all of that and spread wrong information. Keep up the good work the ARD family is doing. Big up.
Not sure why they didn’t allow more than 12 back them in my days was the same. I guess with advanced technology more subjects were added like computer science, tourism etc
Hi Danny, 12 GCE subjects wasn't allowed then all citizens of Guyana simply LFSB...Linden Forbes Samson Burnham had 12 subjects and don't want anyone to surpass him. It is part of Guyana's history and this should be shared.
sights and scenes from those villages ..one word comes to mind..abundant. Third world countries can learn so much from these people, hard working to make this country so abundance of food and happiness
Left Guyana 1979 never been back u show keep me connected Tu my roots blessings keep up the good work now I need tu visit wow Guyana change a lot from back in the days
I thoroughly enjoyed this video .......Its nice when Family members can meet up and reminisce on beautiful memories Keep up the good work #Mr Danny Persaud .On another note Congratulations to the young guy on his Achievements I followed his Success Story on Fb.May all his Future Endeavors be Successful.❤❤❤and Blessings from Guyanese living in Trinidad🇬🇾🇹🇹.
Hey Danny, wow!!! I admire that you climbed tall coconut trees. I grew up in a coconut walk/farm and all I did a few times is to climb a 6' coconut tree...else to that I use a bamboo rod fitted with a grass knife. I don't know if you guys know what is a grass knife. Big up Danny... you are braver than me. Well I did things on the surface of the ground. Can you still climb a tall coconut tree? lol. and yes Berbicians and Essiquibians are very hospitable people. Think if they can get together very often, what will happen? Making cheap or free access and more safe path ways, including roads, bridges, monitored trails by law enforcement. Etc.
It’s always a warm and wonderful feelings seeing family and loved ones. Congratulations to the one with the great achievement. I wish you a bright and successful future. Congrats to your parents too, great job to mom and dad!
Enjoying your video love the atmosphere never went to Essequibo. Thanks for taking me with you guys. Visiting families and friends you have to prepare to eat. Thats my parents for you always making sure anyone visit our home must have something to eat and drink. Here in Canada as well. Have fun guys.❤️
denny i am really upset with youtube for putting ads out for over fifteen to twenty minuites i do not know if i am watching ard videosor watching the long ads i get lost i skip ads sometimes i do not mind watching ads but its too long denny so nice to have an educater in the family congratulation in the sixties my mamoo wrote twelve subjects gce all a grade and distintion he won a goverment scolarship to pursue his doctorate in the u s a i do not know about twenty four subjects
Kindly skip the long ads. Sorry for the long ones. We don’t get to choose the ads they show on our contents. The young man indeed got a scholarship for the USA
Where was developed first and had the bigger population. Berbice or the Essequibo? Where do more people live? How do they make a living? Thanks. If you all live in Guyana how come it took so long to see each other? I don't understand that. Can you explain? Guyana looks so much better since I last visited 27 years ago. My problem is I heard that there are lots of snakes. It is a pity the government would not work on the infrastructure. We had electricity and water problems.
Are there agencies that do tours of all these places? Do they have short term furnished apartments that are reasonable for a 6 week winter vacation? But not in a snake infested area.
@@ITSOURLIFEARD because of your great videos, i plan to mek a trip. We left in 76, when i was 5, to move to Toronto, Canada. Can't wait to visit my hometown, Campbelville...Seaforth St. 👍😉.
Because they don't realize calling themselves that word is derogatory. That indentured labour life is their past life. One person told me that is how we talk. It is the same as using the N word.
I guess it is because they are now citizens of Florida. I would call myself a Torontonian or Canadian because I am a Canadian citizen and have lived here for more than double the years that I have lived in my native country. When I travel I say I am a Canadian. If asked where I lived before I came here then I would identify my birth country. If I have to go back to my country, I have to reaappy for citizenship because I came here before we had dual citizenship. I guess this is how our mindset is

Hi guys, i am.in Canada. The guyanese and Trinidadian indians label themselves as coolies. Why?
Because they don't realize calling themselves that word is derogatory. That indentured labour life is their past life. One person told me that is how we talk. It is the same as using the N word.
👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Why do u refer to those people as floradians? I thought they are guyanese?
I guess it is because they are now citizens of Florida. I would call myself a Torontonian or Canadian because I am a Canadian citizen and have lived here for more than double the years that I have lived in my native country. When I travel I say I am a Canadian. If asked where I lived before I came here then I would identify my birth country.
