CIF State Open Regional Semi-Final - Roosevelt vs St Joseph - Condensed Game 4K

St Joseph fresh off a buzzer beater win over Sierra Canyon traveled to Eastvale to take on the number 2 seed Roosevelt. Roosevelt, Brayden Burries came out with something to prove and put the Mustangs on his back scoring 29 points along with 7 rebounds. Together Roosevelt turned on the defense pressuring the ball, contesting shots and playing the Knights scorers physical in the paint. St Joseph just couldn't put the ball in the basket being held to 9 points in the 1st, 9 points in the 2nd and 8 in the 3rd. Myles Walker came up with key steals turning them into points and did a great job setting up his teammates for good looks. Julius Price and Tounde Yessoufou who combined for 56 points against Sierra Canyon were held to 16 and 13 against Roosevelt.
Roosevelt's supporting cast included Issac Williamson scoring 9 points, Darnez Slater 6 pts and Myles Walker 6 points.
The win sets up a rematch with Harvard Westlake who held off a pesky Carlsbad squad 73-72.
