American reunion follows Book of Love Steve's cousin Scott graduated from East Great falls already and his cousin Stephanie from Girl's rules haven't got to East Great falls yet I'm guessing .

Watched this so many times but still don’t understand why Michelle was disappointed. The man literally kept getting m0lested by Kara and yet stayed loyal and despite that Michelle doesn’t wanna understand.
I can sorta understand it. Not that it’s a realistic reaction but in the realm of storytelling it makes sense:
Jim hasn’t touched Michelle in a long time. They’re aging a bit and were shameless enough to engage in kinky sex in somebody else’s house while there were dozens of partygoers downstairs. Michelle leaves for a few minutes and suddenly this barely-legal girl (not woman, this chick is still a child!) is putting the moves on literally the most unfuckable man in Great Falls.
Michelle probably believed the problem was Jim was no longer attracted to her and was instead interested in what’s-her-name. Her self-esteem was probably already low from their dry spell but hearing her 2/10 husband was about to get it on with a younger girl (again, not woman) probably made her feel like shit was over

Hard to believe this came out 11 years ago, where the hell does time go, holy damn. This is actually my favorite American Pie movie, yeah I'll put ahead of the first one, was very good itself, so was 2. I'm a bit average on American Wedding, the missing of some characters I thought hurt that one a bit, and don't even me started on the straight to video garbage spin-off movies

In American Pie the original Stifler is actually the most mature character of the group and despite his macho, cocky and immature qualities - still has a respectable amount of self control - with American Pie 2 - hes young, full of energy and wants to enjoy life
By American Wedding - its starting to become obvious hes faking alot of his confidence as its devolving from where he was before and finally wirh American Reunion - Hes gone from his true original self to being in so much denial and trying to act younger than he is that hes gone from confident and cool to some degree to downright creepy and someone you genuinely want to avoid
Compare that now to the old man that Tommy Lee Jones plays as Hawk in Space Cowboys
When they are all young men - they are confident and professional
they are the same as time goes by, with Hawk - he describes himself as a kid who never grew up
But it is done to an affectionate banter level rather than fake or serious
Hes lived his life and enjoys having fun, but unlike Stifler later being in self deluded denial acting juvinile to the point of possibly convincing himself of his own lies to not face his insecurities - Hawk is always serious when warrented, professional and responsible
but he does all this being happy and making light of situations for everyones benefit
Playful banter and jokes and having a good time to make light of days as opposed to not being genuine and not being serious thus not being an adult
Hawk is the way to being yourself as an adult but enjoying life and being the best part of expressing old school fun for oneself and others
Unlike Stifler who became irredeemly more unlikeable and immature and fake as time went on

I have this one as the best in the franchise, perfect reunion movie, just too bad it didn't make as much prophet in theaters in 2012, it's really really good. Don't suffer from empty nest syndrome like American Wedding did with some of the characters obviously missing.
