Too scared to use a car, always driving those AWD cars to do DUB tournaments.
This race was pretty hard i mean of course you had to play it on hard to get the car but dude, i raged so much but all the cars were faster than mine i had an RX-8 when i played that race.
What cars were you facing

I had a Skyline 99 tuned on max performance settings and it was so good that reached more than 200 mph easily. So it all depends on how you tune your car too (as you said).
But I´ve to say that the Saleen S302 Xtreme tuned on max settings, rocks even more! But the Skyline is one of my favorite cars, so I´d also try this race with it!
this was actually easier that I thought. I beat it in one try using my Mitsubishi evolution 9mr and I went against an r34, a charger, and a Ford GT
well the evo is a supercar killer
Loved this game... but it froze my PS3 more times than I could count. Almost like the hardware couldn't handle what the software was throwing at it.
First time I tried this tournament I used an upgraded mitsubishi eclipse then I got smoked because other racers used exotic cars so I quit and decided to buy a bike preferably a kawasaki ninja zx14 and zoomed past them, hardest challenge in the entire game
I would try this with a Group 2 classic muscle car maxed out such as the 1969 Camaro or 1970 Challenger, and i get the same AI as a maxed Saleen S302 or Mercedes SL65.
Doc's Audi R8, like OMG the best car ever!! :D
4- Know your car well b4 going to a race, it means, go running through the city (out of a race) and learn how to use the car at it´s limit.
5- Play on a dark room, because the lights from real life confuse your brains with the car lights from the game (I´m talking serious), so you can drive much better, without hitting lots of cars.
6- first, play alone, so you will not be ashamed if shit happens.
7- Play 4 fun!
8- Good Luck

I got the car without doing the tournament idk how.... all i did was start the tournament won 1st place on the first round lost the second so i quit i went to wager so money (medium around $3000) then i won the money and got the car
i think it was a glitch tho

When i drive this in dat time i had the scirocco the group 1 top tuned over 180 mph there was 1 r8 2 lampo's and i won :)

Not sure about what he did at 5:30 but it looks like he was fighting against the spin. For a better recovery he should've gone with it for a smoother transition back to the race, as counter-intuitive as it seems.
It's really not hard because I beat all of the hard races and even the beat storyline, in spite of me having to do the races over again. It takes time. You will get it. :)

Remember on ps3 you can download other people files and have modded cars? This the only game i know they let you do that
I came second in the first race, first in the second and last in the last race. I finished with the highest points I.e 12 and the second guy was 10. it said that I lost the tournament -_-

Yep, makes the game too easy with the bike. Easy to win all tourneys with any AWD car.

Idk how to finish a tournment for good, every time I finish the mision , it appears again. HELP ME!!!!!!
You have to get rank 5 in all car classes to face the boss. These missions will always appear again but you don't have to do them
omg can someone help me!? im trying to win the camaro concept and i have the surrico or w/e u call it with just full nitro and agro and it still says its a yellow difficulty race! how do i get it to become a hard race!?
on this torment i couldent pass it it took me like 5 weeks every time i crashed and got i last in place i would rage quit but when i bought a bick i won this tornment and all the other ones

There are 2 tournaments that absolutely made me want to throw the controller at the TV
the one you complete first for the Mercedes dub
And the one that you can get the camaro dub
they are soo hard, every opponent using B class or higher, and I'm using C Class
If you have enough money, you could buy Ducati( motorcycle) to win those Dub tournaments easily if you know how to control motorcycles first.

@@saleen302extreme DUB tournaments were kinda easy, just had to use R34 or Evo 9 due to their drivetrain.

Really, my 240sx was better than this skyline.
Here are tips for a good car:
1- Buy it only after you got a lot of money (so you can fully tune it)
2- Spend first on performance, than on appearance
3- Before buying a car, evolve the level of experience on the type of car. 4 Example, if you wanna buy a Skyline and fully upgrade it right after you buy, focus on gettin XP for the tuners.

The camera of this games is terrible, it looks like camera from Gran Turismo, it's fix at some angle. MC3 was way better.
