I had to do the magic circle much more differently than you. I don't know why but everytime I tried it your way, the magic circle would always have this loop sticking out. I think it was because I usually wrap the thread twice, not three times so that threw me off. Other than that, its a lovely tutorial.
Oh... is that what she was doing at the very beginning with her finger? Wasn’t familiar... and another question.... Are you doing slip stitches to join as you go in circles? I didn’t see it in your few instructions. You could really use more instructions...

When you did the increases, how many did you do? its hard to tell
at 6:42 it is shown ... I tried on my bead, I did not count the number of additions
