Some part skipper or the fanbase itself sometimes thought jotaro was a bad father which is kinda true and that he love dolphin porn or stuft. Some people dislike jotaro due to him always act like an edgelord.
But even tho he is a adult now, he is still in his 17 and still have the memory of the past trauma of his friends and gained PTSD.
Jotaro seems like the most realistic and most well written character in jojo

@@epicsaxguy2924 i always felt bad for jotaro, he was just an edgy teen during part 3, and took his personality from shit he watched probably like clint eastwood, lost 3 of his friends, and had to stay stong cause when he fought dio he thought no one was left. At part 4: he barely sees his daughter, divorced, the crusaders are just gone now, josephs senile, polnareffs missing, the others are dead, he's the only one who can keep fighting the joestar curse, and now with josuke, josukes grandpa died and got wrapped up in the stand arrow/kira situation, proving to him that his lineage is cursed and that he should leave jolyne out of it, as much as he wants to see her
and at part 6: 22 god damn years later, 122 years since the beginning of it all, at 40 yrs old, he was the only one who keeps fighting, josuke took down kira and kept the town safe, giorno rose to the top, but Jotaros fight hasnr ended yet, now his daughter gets wrapped up anyways and wants nothing to do with him, everything he tries do ends badly, because now the enemy studied him and exploited his biggest weakness, losing his discs and then ultimately dying. He tried his best, but was outsmarted. Jjba has 8 protags so far, but jotaro is definitely the biggest, popularity wise, and story wise.

I think it was also because Jotaro wanted to live a normal life, not depending or being who he is because of his stand. Also because using time stop required a lot of energy which Jotaro didn’t have as a normal human being unlike Dio who was a vampire and inmortal.
Bro, imagine everything Jotaro has been through, at 17 years old he had to fight a man he saw almost killing his grandfather while he couldn't do anything, imagine almost being crushed by a giant steamroller, encountering a murderer who killed women in search for your hands, imagine having a daughter who hates you, because you didn't have time. And in the end he dies precisely because of that... The fate of the Joestar Family was ruined after the arrival of Dio Brando... 💔

Can you just imagine one day your in high school and you gain this ability. Next your grandfather comes to tell you that you have to defeat your grandfathers old rival from taking over the world. Then you learn news that your mom is dying and you have 50 days to travel 9,679 KM without a plane. While your on your journey you have 27 different people attempt to assassinate you and your group. Finally on the last possible you find him. Unfortunately, you learn that 2 have your friends have been killed while you were away. You couldn’t do anything and you have 0 time to mourn. You split up to find Dio, when you find him you learn that your closest friend was donu- was impaled by Dio. Your grandfather tells you his ability only to be stabbed in the neck the second he finishes. You have no choice but to fight Dio, for your Mom’s sake, for your friends, for your grandfather, for your own safety. After learning how to use his ability. You defeat him.
That's why I believe that Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is a tragedy, no matter how wacky it is, it takes it's place among all other tragedies

Worst part? You can clearly see Jotato struggling with everything that happened on the last few hours. On the other fights, he had his friends, he had power, he could win.
Now three of them are confirmed dead, two of them he doesn't know about their fate, and he is now up agaisnt a user that's, for once, more powerful than Star Platinum. He went head first into the fight with anger, only to he nearly killed multiple times by this inhuman monster that, unlike all others, can literally just pull himself together and regenerate his wounds like nothing happened, while constantly mocking Jotaro like a sociopath. For the first time, all Jotaro had was his brains, since his stand's muscle couldn't do anything.
For the first time, he found himself being the weaker link, that had to rely on strategy to win. For the first time, he found himself on the shoes of all of the stand users he defeated; up agaisnt a stand far more powerful than his, that could easily swat him down like a fly.
That, right there, is nightmare fuel. That tormented him for 11 years of his life and made him forcefully never use Star Platinum again. That trauma got to the point that he wanted to hunt down the very thing that made the stands in order to stop the waves from coming.
But the fate still remains. No matter how much Jotaro tried, he couldn't get rid of the Joestar curse. He couldn't rid Josuke, Giorno and Jolyne from it.
And it landed a massive counter-strike on Kujo.
I think that part 3 was supposed to be the last part... But hey, it didnt end... But resulted in jotaro dying...

If jotaro truly let out all Emotions that are kept inside when beating up kira, kira would have had holes like dio did

It's like a mix between the fate that still remains and hesitation, perhaps because Jotaro realized that the fate that happened to Kakyoin who was a good friend of his may happen to Koichi, causing him to hesitate. Maybe I'm thinking too much over a good song but I just wanted to say this.

Jotaro has literally seen every popular JoJo event that’s happened at this point, or knows about it. Dio’s name can’t get out of his head.
Jotaro went through a lot.
It was 1988 when I killed Dio, but by that time it was too late. 3 of my best friends were already dead, you're great grandfather was drained by Dio, and polnareff was in critical condition. My 17 year old heart was as broken as my body. And no matter how much I stopped time, the pain of loss would only increase. the magician died with the fool, and the heirophant gave his last lesson. After that battle I was able to steal back you're great grandfather from the clutches of death, but I never saw polnareff again until the incident with the arrows, but after that I haven't heard from him since.

When Jotoro saw Koichi with a hole in his gut, he must of had flashbacks to Kakyoin. Koichi and Kakyoin are very simliar, like how they're caring ,wise, where green and both got donuted (so many losses to donuting)

I feel like this would be playing as a villain reveals the true scale their plan, and tells the hero how they never even had a chance at beating them, all with a wicked smile and a psychotic laugh.
Jotaro saved the world in part 3.
in part 6, he saved the world again, his world that is, his daughter
This was definately araki testing jotaros emotional limits/trauama in the story, both antags are blond, they donut, koichi wears green and gets donutted like kakyion, araki was setting this up to test jotaros limits.
jotaro has so much ptsd, he seen too many deaths in his life. People claiming he doesn't care, that he's good for nothing, even his wife and child thinking this when he's just trying to help. Before he had joseph and holly to comfort him, but now they're gone probably because they're too old to help and be there when he needs them.

Ok so,imagine at Jotaro death suddenly a disk pops out of him,then another one 1 moment later. Everyone is freaking out. Jotaro isn’t...He remembers his journey to Egypt...Kakyoin....Polnareff....Avdol...Iggy....Joseph.....he remembers Morioh...Josuke...okuyasu....Koichi...Rohan....
He remembers DIO...he remembers Kira....he remembers how he asked Koichi to find Giorno giovanna or to him,haruno hishobanna.
I know this would bend the scene a lot but I think it would be how I do it
None of the Joestar's deserved the hand that fate dealt them. And honestly speaking, Jotaro might have gotten the lion's share of it. Joseph and Josuke are living fairly normal lives, Giorno, although with great losses, achived his dream, but him and Jolyne? Oh God, what a terrible fucking life they got to themselves.
I am happy at least in the new universe, he gets a happy ending after all.
ya ever remember that DIO is Joseph's great step-uncle? A bit funny to think about, since Dio's character changes so much from parts 1-3 that you almost completely forget he's technically a Joestar, and not some random dude that has ancient beef with the Joestars.
