Basically them doing that telling us how serious these last seasons are gonna be since the live action clips they show here are from the first TMNT movie which was more serious and darker from the original comics
@@stark_man0278 That's oddly specific to interpret that. It tells more that the show is connected in some way to the movies which is really confusing canon wise.
The original TMNT comics were dark and serious, which is why long time fans like the new TMNT shows. I think there have been 3 now all with continuity.

Only season 1 & 8 are worth watching. The rest of this overlong, weird, goofy, slapstick comedy cartoon was trash.

I remember this opening when show was trying to be like Batman the animated series,like being more dark and serious.
