I fortunately won't have to deal with the iconic crystal bottleneck going forward. My path to building up gear was a little less conventional where I built 2 full sets of gear, accessories included. Then I built 3 sets of gear without accessories. Often times I noticed that I could build 2-2.5 pieces of gear for the cost of a single accessory. The pace at which I maxed commanders is also faster than the pace at which I made equipment. I wasn't looking for the best single march possible but making as many of the 5 marches available to me serviceable because of the various debuffs and buffs each march can provide. Only have 2 remaining pieces of gear to craft that aren't accessories, then I will craft 6 accessories in succession while I work on blueprints for Iconic V. Was able to clear 25.5m kills this kvk without the purchase of kvk pop up bundles or mountain warfare. I'm pretty certain next kvk I'll never not be under 30m kills every kvk as long as I put in the work.

Another banger bro. I’m stuck between the idea of 2/2/2 archer set vs 6 piece. I know technically 2/2/2 gives overall more stats, but the 4 piece/ 6 piece bonus of dragons breath seems really strong. I already have all the prints for 6 piece so I may just go that route. You know my situation with being new to SOC, just don’t have access to enough soc coins yet.
2/2/2 Do kvk helm last and just run revival until then. I wish I did that but they hadn’t lowered the cost of kvk gear or gave more conquest coins at that time
with the changes to get coins and blueprints from shop you could get weapon to iconic tier 2 within 1 kvk if you can get 4 coins. For me i can get helm and weapon to iconic 2 in this kvk
14:03 got lucky on this too and got Dragonbreath Boots talented. But I kept Flame Treads on my #1 march & put the talented Dragonbreath on my 2nd march
Based on the way stats work - doesn't the Iconic 1 attribute actually help T4 troops more than T5 and close the gap in their trades given their base stats are lower than T5s? I would imagine it's probably insignificant but across a full set of gear it could make a difference.
@@Busdriver3092 I am confused I have crit dagger and crit ring so I use it on, ZL/ashur rally and in field on ZL/herman should I keep using that or horn is better option? And also Scipio/LC greatest glory / ring or horn/ring?
@@Rabbit_Gaming4 greatest glory/ring for Scipio/LC. I think horn/ring for ZL/Hermann. But a crit dagger isn’t bad. Just don’t craft another dagger because the crit dagger and regular dagger debuff won’t stack and the crit will override even stacks if the regular
8:24 I got lucky and Eternal crit on the first craft. I had 4 blueprints so I took it to tier 4. I stopped cause Tier 5 cost as much as crafting it in full again
i've forged karuak humility and got the blueprint for eternal night but i don't really see the point of forging it now, i'm prioritizing hope cloak rn as i didn't forge quinn's soul, what do you think? got 3 iconic crystals btw in kvk1
I would also avoid the eternal night for now as well, like he said in the video. Karauks humility will serve you well into the end game!! I still use it on my 2 inf marches, and I dont see them going anywhere any time soon, at least until I start closing in on total completion of all my sets. Very low priority upgrade, if you would even call it that 😂😂😂
I think big Kane said it. Awaken 2 then special talent then back to higher tiers of Awaken. Exception would be archer boots and maybe infantry boots for March speed first

@@brandoncressi no. Because T4 starts out weaker, the improvement relative to where it starts might be slightly bigger but it’s not “closing the gap”

I just got the kvk cav weapon with iconic and my march seems to be doing worse than with the epic🤔🤔
I would personally take 17% defense over 25% attack + 3 base attack 😅.
As a mid low speneder is it realistic for me to go for kvk items? Im about to enter kvk2 and some say kvk items are for whales.
Currently the Kvk Weapon and helm costs exactly the same materials as the normal legendary weapon and helm.

It is. They give way more conquest coins in kvk now and kvk equipment doesn’t cost more than regular set equipment
