- I-CAR and Car-O-Liner join Repair University LIVE for the world premier of a new hands on in shop course for technicians.
Today's vehicle manufactures have incorporated extensive use of alternative steel, such as HSS and UHSS. In addition we now have an explosion of Aluminium in use from the OEM's. Understanding how to anchor and hold a vehicle is more critical now then ever.
Having a proper anchor plan allows for easier repair and prevents damage from being pulled into the vehicle.

Dude in bright blue 2 steps more than an 80 year old. Wish they'd pull this shit!
Foreal dude is weird as hell acting 😂
Not a single repair performed in this video. Complete waste of time.
👍👍
Is this really fixing it? Or is it cosmetic? Did the frame or body parts get strengthened, after the pull?
If parts aren't heated up and aren't creases, some can be reused. But you have to pull things as close to spec before replacing the parts even, otherwise your new parts you are sectioning in or replacing won't line up.
So they have to pull things the best you can BEFORE replacing the parts. He made a good point about that when talking about cutting the front bumper reinforcement vs using it for pulling.
What is that car?
Where are your safety glasses?!!
Strategy not applied. 😂😂😂😂😂
Very basic...
Only good for novice technician
Waste of time..pure marketing
Blah blah
Bla blablablablabla
I'm a little disappointed in this training episode. First of all, this is about anchoring and pulling strategies, but most of this "training" is overlapping information regarding HSS, stories and what ifs. It's great info, but for an hour of video, they could have shaved off a lot of the chit chat stories. Just get to the point. They have a car with extensive front end damage as a demo. Analyze the damage, start clamping, then put the chains on and let's go! Better yet, have 5 different front end damage scenarios on a white board or slides, then clamp and pull. If this is how they develop training videos, these people are dumb.
You spend all this time talking and not putting it into practice seriously?
Holy hell u guys talk too much
