Some moves looks like capoeira but a diferent stance. Very nice meet a new (for me) martial art so similar. Greets from Brazil.
Yuji blitzing Mahito, ya love to see it
Oh looks like a fellow manga reader
Me too searching for taido scenes haha
Lmfaoooo
The jujutsu kaisen manga readers have assembled
i see, we are men of culture as well
I'm here because the new character Reina from Tekken 8 apparently has some Taido in her style. Gotta say, it looked better in Tekken than IRL 😅
Frrr
My guy…every martial art looks better in cinema and gaming because they emphasize the idealized and flashy parts of it to make it more appealing
Imagine throwing one of these guys and they say, "You just activated my trap card!"
😂😂😂😂
Im a boxer I love watching taido and taekwondo I wish I could learn these stuff it would add a lot , this doesn't look anything like capoeira capoeira is more like a dance this is striking it is realistic this might be boxing's worst anime on the ground like this
Finally, an opend mind boxer 👏🏻
When we talk about capoeria though we have to acknowledge that there is a separation between fighting and dancing capoeira, some moves are definitely similar
This give me motivation to taido bc my leg broke and i haven't being in taido trainings for a long time. These guys are insane! 🤩
😂😂
Doesn't look like a realistic martial art but does look like a sport that's fun :)
Well it is fun😅
@@edwardsarhuda2595 yes! :)
In sparring, scoring is mostly limited to striking the torso, which is what makes it look unrealistic
Respect for japan
It resembles a lot capoeira angola and the old full contact capoeira.
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 121 brought me here!
Same 😂😂😂

Is it just me or does this seem like the most impractical martial art of all time?
It is impractical in the sense that you shouldn't take it without learning something more effective, like boxing, mma or wrestling, but combine these techniques here with traditional punch combos and you're on your way to creating an unorthodox style. Not just that, these constant level changes can keep your opponent guessing what you'll do next, and u can easily chain the level changes into a takedown when they least expect it. Of course, always have something more practical in the pocket like boxing or muay thai in the even that your strategy goes south, but combined with effective wrestling, you can use these kicks to take people to the floor and control em there, or ground and pound.
Every martial art has practical and impractical techniques. That’s why MMA is beautiful you can borrow what works best out of every art.
Could be worse, could be a mcdojo. At least here you have to have stamina, agility, spatial awareness, exceptional body control, etc.
Maybe in fighting it’s not the best, but in getting your body in shape for the time that you have to fight? it can damn well do it for you.
@@Karmadillo-qh3jv Actually, you are right. My post was from 5 years ago and I've changed my opinion. Agility, stamina, control - it's all there. (not the most practical in a street fight- but as a martial art- not bad)
See a lot of side kicks not a lot of punches
well it's taido
Isso é uma capoeira de japa!
Pensei o mesmo
Claramente
I wonder why a man with a bald head wins. Is there a rule not to kick the opponent's face? Or maybe it's allowed but lightly?
Imo capoeira is better. Taido is basically japanese take on the same thing. But to me capoeira has a better stance and a better system to teach proper footwork. Taido seems stiffer in comaprison.
Is this some kind of Japanese capoeira Roda?!
Obviously it is inspired on capoeira, it resembles a lot capoeira angola.
@@lucasvega4216 There's actually no influence from capoeira whatsoever.
Agree
You see many Indonesian and Malay styles moving like this as well, fluid motions are in variations all over the world.
Would be nice with some ground game
Nah it'd be boring
It kind of bears a resemblance to the indigenous korean art of Taekyon.
Hey Marc, Taekyon is a kind of korean indigenous martial art?
Me as a taekgyeon-kkun i kinda agree with your opinion
@diferentre
Yes. And even though the names sound very similar it is not the ancestor art of Tae Kwon Do.
why baldy won? He was KO'ed in 2:15 & recovering for like, 30 seconds..
in boxing, you're only allowed to recover for 10 seconds count..
what a shit rules they got here, much worse than olympics tkd lol
2:15
4 years late, but that definitely caught the guy on the chin
And I thought capoeira was a waste of time....
Spartan soldier yes they are shit. But I don’t think the art is helping them 😂
What are the rules of this martial art kumite?
Looks like a normal point match, no punches to the face and a little bit more free, I mean, it looks like they can counter after getting hit.
Limited contact to torso only, no weight classes. Similar scoring as in judo, where a technique must fulfill certain conditions to score a point.
Looks like a martial art for ewoks
😂😂😂
Put any capoeira practitioner against this guys and he will beat the shit out of them...
All styles are practical if done correctly and properly. Apparent faults are due to the practitioners' lack of ability......and shitheads like you are plague to all the true martial arts.
Eddy Gordo need to join the tournament. lol
Look like no Dangerous!
Jdi ingat silat harimau

This is comedy???
Mirip silat..
Itu kaya campuran silat dan capoeira
Capoeira Japonesa
Capoeira genérica.
Japanese Capoeira
This is Capoeira karate
"Haha"
These guys played so much fighting videogames and watched so much anime that they started believing these bullshit moves work.
