I'm addicted to this one already 🤣 I listened to it for about an hour straight while I vacuumed and did laundry today. 😄 my kids were making fun of me because I was singing at the top of my lungs... and they were in the back yard! 😆
It’s always nice seeing someone get introduced to the nerdcore genre. Here are some info just for fun. “Nerdcore” is music based on so-called nerdy stuff, such as games, cartoons, animes, comics, and so on. This one is based on a really long running anime that’s about pirates. Divide music is probably the best nerdcore artist to start with, since their music is HIGHLY enjoyable even if you know nothing about the source material, compared to a lot of other artists that you likely wouldn’t really get if you aren’t familiar with the source material. Would definitely recommend listening to his other works, and please do react to it if you have the time!

The property that you noticed that even if you don't know about the inspiration beforehand and it is still amazing is a normal property observed in the majority of Divide's songs. There are some exceptions (such as "Domain") that are specific to the character or show, but generally speaking, it is normal music. The most funny thing ever is to put some anime hater to listen to it and later show the inspiration.
Wow! Thank you for the list! This music hit something in me that I can't explain. It stirred emotions on a deep level, bringing back memories of my teen years listening to heavy metal, and then adding in my love of traditional Irish/Scottish music...as well as some amazing violin, which is my favorite instrument, (I grew up hearing a lot of classical music) and rock vibes. Simply amazing. I listened to it for over an hour yesterday while I vacuumed and did laundry, singing at the top of my lungs. My kids were totally laughing at me. 🤣

Divide music has great music and is very talented, another person that does anime theme song that from this reaction believe you'd like is Fabvl. They both do good rock heavy, though Fabvl leans more into rap than divide does. The nerdcore community has a plethora of great songs, even for people who don't know the shows

The song is about a show named "One Piece", an extremely popular anime and manga. The manga has sold over 516.5 million copies over the last 20+ years. Additionally, the anime has over 1000+ episodes to date. In my opinion, it is one of the best pieces of fiction ever written.
The story of One Piece is about Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who has a single dream: To find the legendary treasure known as the One Piece and become the King of the Pirates. Alongside his crew, Luffy sails the dangerous seas of the Grand Line to find Laugh Tale, the hidden island containing the One Piece."
This song perfectly captures the story of One Piece. As a massive One Piece fan, I cannot describe the joy this song brought me! I got goosebumps listening to it. Moreso, the editing of the video has phenomenal. Watching the show is not everyone's cup of tea, due to the sheer length of the story, but seeing all of these memorable moments whilst listening to such an amazing song blew me away!
So glad this came across my recommended. Definitely going to be listening to a lot of Divide from now on!

The band: Alestorm. The song: "P.A.R.T.Y"
This band is on Napalm Records lable, and the epitome of Scottish pirate metal. Yes, you read that right, Scottish pirate metal.
All their songs are a vib, most are an earworm.
I picked this song because most of their songs have a pile of profanity and adult subject matter.
The first song that I heard from them was "F***ed With an Anchor". Might be a bit much for the average person as an introduction to a band (lol), but I'm not average and I loved it. But, that song is such an earworm that it took me a month to get it out of my head!
Another option for them would be Battle of Cape Cove. You have to have the closed captioning on for that song. Whomever did the subtitles has a hell of a sense of humor.

Maybe not, but I've had comments saying that I seem very proper and modest. ooh possible new Divide fan? I'll recommend one from him that a lot of people tend to skip over for some reason, it's one if his few that isn't really based on any anime so maybe that's why, but Always Hated Goodbyes is one of my favorites from him

Welcome to the Anime music. The community is amazing and the musicians, rappers and artists are honestly some of the most impressive people I've heard and their incredible work ethic gives us music of this caliber if not weekly then usually bi-weekly. You can find music of multiple genres within anime and can likely find music for any anime or character you like. Mainstream folks like to rip at the RUclips musicians saying if they were worth a damn they'd be on radio or something but I haven't heard shit on the radio or through word of mouth half as good as what this community is putting out. Been this way for YEARS.
I agree with you 100% on that! Most main stream stuff sucks now and that's why I started doing this channel! I get introduced to amazing artists all through your wonderful comments!
@@MrsRealistic Well then lets steer you from ol Tom Macdonald and towards...hmm... I HIGHLY recommend Fabvl. Prior Navy with a natural vibrato that can often sound like auto-tune (he debunked auto-tune claims and proved it by singing live through his cell phone) and blends a sick fusion of styles that will keep you VERY engaged. I would recommend "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Song - "Moonwalker" | FabvL". He started working with someone from this track and on and I still lose my absolute shit when this comes on. I have to step away from work or from video calls to EXPERIENCE this shit again lol

Ik you probably don’t know or watch anime, but you should check out fabvl’s Dani rap called “Cross My Heart” or his other song which is called “Rebel” which is a Bakugo rap. Don’t worry you don’t need to know much about the anime, his music is more around a feeling and the anime character are just the inspiration ig. There are some references to the anime but you can kinda get some context from the amv in the background.
