Liverpool return to Old Trafford hoping to keep their Premier League title push on track with victory over Manchester United.
But will their old rivals be able to throw another spanner in the works after winning an FA Cup meeting between the sides just three weeks ago?
Reds reporter David Lynch is here to assess why this latest meeting is more likely to go in the visitors' favour.
He also picks a starting XI for Old Trafford, including difficult selections at full-back.

It doesn't matter what team we put out as long as jurgen talks them up for it. Too many times under Jurgen do we let ourselves down at OT. He needs to get them going from the start like two sessons ago. United are on a minus GD in April. That never happened before in the prem era and it shows exactly how poor they are. Jurgen needs to get the team to go for the juglar from the start

Good team selection David. It’s the team I would play but Jones must come on at some stage of the game. We must also stop giving stupid goals away too. Having said that I’m confident of bagging the 3pts… UTFR

Mac, Endo and Jones has to be the midfield. I think Jota being out might cost us the win though. Nunez is too erratic and Mo doesn't track back enough which exposes Bradley.

Its simple if we are wasteful then we don't win . TBH I think we have been so sloppy in the last two games i really wonder if our forwards are up for this . These are the games that cry out for someone clinical like Jotta. Diaz, Gakpo, and Nunez are just too wasteful in front of goal. Salah has not looked like his old self since the injury. We should smash Man U on paper but with these forwards, i just don't know.
i'm sure only changes from thursday, jones and robertson in for gravenberch and bradley

May not get many clear cut chances as they will pretty much park the bus and look to counter. We need to make those 3-4 chances count.
Diaz and Nunez for all their industry, waste 90% of their chances and it takes many chances for them to convert one. That might come to hurt us.
With Mane and Firminho and even Jota , we had that killer instinct. Hope it doesnt come back to bite us.

@lincolnwilson8124 Doesn't matter who plays, we always struggle there. Varane and Evans will be fit anyway and we struggled against them at Anfield. Don't be so cocky and complacent, that's what cost us there last time.
I have my doubts on Konaté, I don't think he was good vs Sheffield last night. Otherwise everything else is spot on!
Konate was fine. If he is fit i would start him. Better at covering the right hand space.

Endo back in for Gravenberch and Robbo for Gomez. Also can you start convering the rivals teams' possible selections in the coming weeks? I think United have a crisis at the CB position
There are other channels for news on other clubs. This one is perfectly focused on Liverpool and long may it continue.
It's not for us as fans to worry about who lines up for opposing teams. That's for our coaches and players to game plan on. We just need to give our boys the upmost support! YNWA 💪♥️
We need to see a much much better Liverpool against that Utd lot than recent games put the chances away and then whatever they do shouldn't count. We're far better than them now it's time to show that again.

Not going to lie, I am nervous about this one. We struggled against Man Utd in the first fixture then lost against them in the FA Cup, it's not going to be easy.
MU lost Varane and Evans yesterday, and Casemiro was taken off. They're already without Lindelof and Martinez, and they're going to be on equal rest time. I feel a lot better about this one. Never to be taken lightly, though, especially at OT. Hope everyone has their finishing boots on cause there will defo be opportunities!

David, no one ever talks about why we have this figure congestion which in itself is leading to so many muscle injuries. The reason of course is these regular international breaks many for friendlies. They are impacting the quality of the Premiership and effecting clubs ability to compete properly. Clubs are going to have to get tough on this issue and withhold players at the very least for friendlies.
Those March internationals are a joke!!. In the middle of a title charge they take the players for 2 weeks and return them injured!!.

Robbo will be allowed to roam and augment the midfield and forward line, with the formation changing to 3-4-3 at times
united is missing a lot of defenders, we must put pressure on them from the first minute ! and like i said after the defeat in the cup, we must see this game as a big one, dont underestimate them !

Excellent analysis and articulation of the next match as always David! Well done. My very honest and personal view is, if we don’t win (ie draw) vs Man U on Sunday, I feel our title race is over. It’s as simple as that. I cannot see Man City dropping any points. Maybe same for Arsenal. People keep saying LFC have the easiest run in - they are absolutely joking - it’s a hard run of matches, maybe more than Arsenals. MC have easiest run in. I’ve felt this all season, but our front line is missing way too many of its chances, and this tipping point is building to a crescendo now: we just have to put these chances away now. Yesterday, say what you want, we had loads of possession, but didn’t have that killer edge to break the low block and put pressure on them early. We waited until they scored and then we went again. It’s a must win match on Sunday. No draw, no loss. Perhaps Ive been scarred by being pipped twice and losing CL finals in the past, but I do spot some recurring patterns from previous seasons and this one, and it worries me abit.
Just no getting away from how big this one is! Liverpool have to win.
