Reminds me of Snot from American Dad who’s been crushing on Steve’s older sister for years (Since childhood). Then once he gets her attention and likes him back, Snot got over her and wasn’t interested.

Of all the things to give examples from, you chose a show, I’m surprised, but seriously most kids game villains have just the same thing, after all what does bowser do with peach after he kidnaps her everytime, nothing he puts her in a cage and there’s no before x happens, it’s always just "quick go save princess because princess"

When robotnik caught sonic in forces, he didn't know what do with him
it's like fishing. the only fun about that is getting the fish, but not catching it.
I’m not gonna lie, Robotnik realizing it was more about fighting Sonic than actually destroying him was really precious. That was weirdly heart warming. :D

Mmhm, quite a few times in the comics its been mentioned that at any point he could just win if he wanted to. Any crazy person can just win. Its not just about winning. Its about making Sonic know he never had a chance. Its not enough just to kill Sonic but he has to completely beat him. Hence the convoluted plans.

They actually acknowledge it in the IDW comics
But I mean, he wants to build an Amusement Park, has a lot of Robots that either look like himself or like Living Beings and even needs someone to accompany him. He seems to be alone, frustrated and loves to play games. So playing cat and mouse with his archenemy seems to bring him some kind of joy. Though, he'd never stand to that and sometimes it even annoys him, so he really tries to defeat him (Forces as a good example). But in the end, they both can't without one another. It really is a love-hate relationship...
This just goes to show that Robotnik never aimed to destroy Sonic, rather he enjoys the excitement of battle when it comes to fighting Sonic. That's sweet, and oddly heart warming.

It's funny how accurate this is to Eggman's mentality. Eggman has expressed that he could easily destroy Sonic with cheap tricks, but would rather do it on his own terms.
So she's basically the "mashed" answer to Kevin the villain assistant.
And a damn good one keep in mind the failures only came from not listening to her and misinterpretation

Xavior every time he did, eggman never gave up though. So while it was a victory, he didn’t win.
Sonic won the battles, but eggman never gives up so sonic never truly wins the war.

@@casualwiifan Eggmans not a shitty mechanic, he's just an inept villain. Were it not for his ego, all he'd need is a high speed gun that could match sonics speed, boom Sonic, on the floor, bleeding out. But Eggman wants to win HIS way not the easy way.
And let's not forget the Egg Dealer from Shadow the Hedgehog. A slot machine that literally give you rings and extra lives.

I love how Sonic and Tails were just staring into each other's eyes, not blinking, not talking.
Bowser should be next. He keeps setting traps in his own castle that he always falls for.
Actually they are all (or at least most of them are) peach castles, she hides traps so that when bowser inevtably conquers them he has no idea how to deactivate them and he is forced to use them because mario dosent give him time to spend the mushrrom kingdom's money to build his own, so he just decorates it with his face.

By creating a virus that caused two wars and effected 3 people that caused a massive flood which forced the humans to live in space but died, then the last human died and Megaman is stuck in space with no way to get home.

As Russian, I approve this fact.
The whirlpool machine was actually meant to Spin sonic around underwater in order to drown him while also keeping him from jumping out. If it was capable of spinning Sonic around longer than he could hold his breath, maybe Dr eggman might've won. Then again, a bubble shield would be able to counter it.

It’s actually funny how Svitlana mentioned the obvious weak points. Though fun fact, in the actual Sonic canon those obvious weak points do have a purpose. I’ll sum it up like this...
What would happen if one of your most powerful robots went rogue on you, and you built it with no weak points? You should always have a backup plan.

you know that how Robotnik actually feels towards sonic, it’s even Mentioned in the IDW sonic comics.
That actually happen the games. In one of the Game Gear titles, Eggman saves Sonic from certain death just to fight him.

@@ligtningdog6399 In sonic lost world, eggman pulls sonic up when they were both dangling from a cliff above lava and eggman falls down instead. I know eggman easily escaped the situation and still had evil intentions but Sonic couldn't escape from that either way.

I truly believe this IS totally in character with Dr. Robotnik. He relishes playing the villain role, but doesn't want it to end. And the only way it ends is if Sonic dies. He knows that if he were to actually DO IT, he'd actually miss him.

Robotnik's incompetence may be frustrating, but that his machines are about the purpose of fight Sonic was... kinda touching.
Like, he prefers the intensity of the fight rather than finish him fast.

I was hoping Sonic would wipe out the robot by just running up its arm and blasting through the visor, because in all her gloating Svitlana gave the robot a punching arm that Sonic could use to reach them instead of just using two guns to shoot from a safe distance.
