Congratulations! I've always looked at patholohist as the doctors that know the most about human biology of all doctors. Being a board certified pathologist is a super great achievement!🤩

Hie , congratulations on your certification!
I want to understand something, so I'm doing Masters in Pathology ( 2 years program) . Which board exams do I take and also is there a difference in the work field between someone who went through residency and one who has a master's degree only?

You have to be a MD to sit to take the pathology boards. I am not sure what happens after a masters in pathology, but you need to be a doctor to practice pathology clinically.

Do you have to apply for state license in your residency program or the state that you’re going to do the fellowship?

Congratulations! Curious about the interval from the taking the exam to the date of the release of the results. How come it is so long? I thought that since the exam is computerized, results would be faster to be released.

I was surprised too! They wait until the end of the exam cycle, then it's ~6 weeks before the scores come out. So for my the last test date was 5/18, and the scores came out first week of July (filming and editing takes me a while). I think it has to do with some internal statistics, and deciding if they want to throw away some questions. During the exam, you may leave comments if you have any issues/complaints about a question.

@@Baking_MD Thanks for the reply. The option of leaving comments if they find issues/complains is great. Again congratulations for passing the exam!
