  • Since the 1960s, satellites have integrated into our lives seamlessly, they provide us with cell services, navigation, and even internet services. However, in recent years, there are an increasing amount of satellites being sent to space, one being Starlink by SpaceX, which has over 12,000 satellites planned to be deployed. What is the benefit and what is the danger of sending this many satellites to our orbit?

Pretty clickbaity sensationalist title. SpaceX has sent nowhere near 12,000 satellites into orbit. They currently have somewhere around ~2,500ish.
Science, technology and space are awesome as they are. You don't need to lie or hype them. Please do better.

I was 7 , living in San Diego overlooking Mission Bay from our backyard and we would watch it go over.... My dad became part of computer programming and Electronic Warfare in 1952. he looked at it and said "if they can put a dog in it they can put a bomb in it". (In 1969 he said "we can look right at your eye from 500 miles". )
