I've been on Bonney for all of 07, feeling really solid about the deck. Slight mistake, 8c Rosinante doesn't get hit by Bonney searcher. I personally still run the Baby 5 searcher as a 3x and run Donquixote 2k's in place of Izo/Carrot. 8c Rosinante is super strong, I'm not a fan of the 5c carrot or X-Drake in the deck but with 08 Carrot I think it'll be a slam dunk. I think most games you either have the Hody to rest units or can continue to stall and remove the blockers on the board, running other options that allow you to better deal with high cost units feels better and stops you from just outright losing the game to back to back 8 drops.
I dont agree with thr 1C apoo, just because if you try to swing into the rested kaya early they'll just bounce back to hand with snake dance or save it another way. 2C apoo is also strong into the mirror, and makes bonney have 2 don up instead.
I played yesterday at locais with a deck close to this one and went 3-1. Lost to Kalgara due to a bad start (didn't do anything on 4 don). For 5c slots I was using 2 Bonnies, 4 Cavendish and 4 Carrots (new one). I didn't used XDrake nor Carrot (2k). I also was using 10 2ks instead of 8, and wasn't using Doflamingo. After some changes this morning, the deck looks like this (maybe I'll remove one carrot and add another Bonnie): 1xOP07-019 4xEB01-012 3xEB01-015 2xOP01-033 2xOP01-051 2xOP02-029 3xOP04-119 3xOP05-030 4xOP06-035 3xOP06-118 4xOP07-021 2xOP07-026 4xOP07-029 4xOP08-023 4xST02-007 3xST02-008 3xOP05-037
I still like the double searcher but need to test more. Bonney having a searcher first turn that the opponent has to swing into is one of it’s biggest strengths in my opinion
@@ericv5435 not running double searcher also makes it harder to see 10 drop doffy/rosinante if you don’t play them at 3 or 4. At that point maybe you don’t even run the 10 drop cuz your odds of seeing it are so low
I tried using 8 cost rosinante before in bonney but its so useless other than the black matchup. I prefer a pure supernova build with 9 cost zoro, 10 cost doffy, and hody.
My normal play rosinante three bodies I dropped him for eight play out the Cavendish and then resend the two play Uruguay and then get that one done active for the following turn while having a blocker
I may be reaching but if you get a Cavendish out early turn 3 then maybe you swing with Cavendish and then rosiante re-stand law combo to re-stand Cavendish and collect the 2 don to swing 6 with bonney and keep one for leader effect
@@pauldiaz69 yea that would be the ideal move tbh. But it’s just so hard to pull off since realistically how many restand laws are you running? I feel you’d rather run other 5 cost characters and the list is pretty tight already
Ive been running no baby 5 and just bonney the whole of 07, and it feels a lot better in my opinion, too easy to bottom deck the other searchers cards. Ive aslo been running two 8c rosi in a very similar deck to this and it feels great i cant lie. I think i might cut doffy all together as often my set up that allows me to get a don back is ruined before i can play hin leaving me without my leader ability. But now stop giving people our sauce 😅

I solely use both Apoos because they're searchable 2ks. I haven't used their abilities in a match

The double searcher is a decent idea. However, I feel if you use 1 searcher, you'll only see the other cards you can't get and vice versa.

Instead of carrot would you sub in law that restands a supernova
It only restands a 5 cost or lower supernova. Other than Cavendish as a target, the card is useless.
