Alison played Nellie Oleson to the hilt. She was wonderful in that part.
Yes she was! My favorite character on the show!
@@crmay72 I also liked that when Nellie got older, she wasn't quite as mean as she was as a child. I also liked the character of Mrs. Oleson. She could be horrible at times but every once in a while she showed a little humanity so you could dislike her but not hate her. Neither one of these women ever received an emmy nomination for their work. In fact, Melissa Sue Anderson was the only one on that show to receive a nomination. Very surprising because I feel so many of the actors and actresses were worthy of nominations.
@@sunnyskies-md5rk I could not agree more!! Katharine MacGregor took the role of Harriet Oleson and completely went into orbit!! She and Alison both should have been nominated for Emmys! The show would NOT have been the same without the Oleson family! ;)
