Rebuild of a Monaro 21 fiberglass power boat PART 1

The interior was in poor condition from being left open to the weather. The cabinets, side panels and floor were all partially rotten. The power was a V6 Volvo gas stern drive with a dead motor. As part of the restoration we will convert the boat to outboard. This requires filling in the transom hole and reinforcing the transom. This was not reviewed in this video so it will be discussed in the next video.
Once the project is completed almost the entire interior will be new.
In Part 1, I will discuss the floor installation and bulkhead and dash refinishing.
Originally we were going to spray the dash dark grey but changed the color to match the white gelcoat.

No part 2 yet. We did some work since this video but our shop moved last year and haven't been able to touch the boat since.
