- You guys asked for it! So I got my good friend Shadowkisses to come over and share more of her eerie experiences from living out in the mountains with you! Forgive us for this being just as much comedy as suspense, as staying serious is a herculean task for us. We'll have more for you in part 2!

It pretty much sounds like someone was playing a recording of ShadowKisses' dog outside her window. That could explain the weird sounds too (background noise from the recording). But that's not exactly comforting, is it? It's like either someone *or* something wanted her to go out there in the middle of the night, and either way, their intentions were probably not good. That's damn creepy.
RabidPinkBunny personally sounds like a wendigo because they always smell like rotting flesh and one thing I’d suggest is that wendigo are deathly afraid of fire so make sure to have some flamethrowers and torches a wendigo can mimic sounds that it’s heard the warbling means that it didn’t hear it 100% clearly

If that's true, the idea that someone somehow recorded specifically that noise is terrifying. How would they have gotten that recording in the first place?
For some reason to me the idea that it was a human playing a recording to lure her outside is creepier than it actually being a cryptid

If we’re talking about weird paranormal things, this sounds like a skin walker/wendigo-could explain the scent of decay/death coming and going without the need of wind, also explains the record-like noise. Note in most legends about the skin walker/wendigo, they’re said to mimic the sounds of those closest to their intended victims-although they’ll sound a bit off...of course this is just a thought.
In a weird way the warble almost made it seem like it was saying 'mommy'. Honestly, I feel like this may be the work of a wendigo. I know lots of cryptids and creatures have a way to mimic but the one that feels strongest to me, at least from my own experience with them, is that it mimics sounds that are close to you. I had a situation once when I was small where it imitated my mother's voice. Though from what I wrote, I bet people might think that it's a skin walker. Either way, I'm leaning toward Wendigo in Shadowkisses case but it could be either. But in any case, I hope she stays safe. Both of you are some of my favorite goth girls and I'd be really sad if any of you got attacked by a spook. :(

P.S. The video of the thing that was mimicking Shadow sounds a lot like a loop, as if someone was recording Shadow too loor you in a trap.
Shadow sounds kinda like shes trying to say “come on!” Because huskies can usually make sounds that almost imitate human speech but the thing thats trying to mimic her sounds like it is trying to say “come out!” In a husky “voice”
Also sulfur= rotten egg/meat smell, rotten egg/meat smell 🚫 sulfur
Edit of the future: OMG i just now thought of this but the only thing that I can think of that sounds like that particular type of audio artifact is wind whipping around like you would hear during a really intense snow storm (or a wendigo using its power maybe?) and also when it comes to mimicry usually when mimicking a sound that isnt a noise someone or something usually makes it tends to stay the same everytime said someone or something makes it until they get more familiar with the inflections of whatever animal or person they are trying to mimic. My best guess is either a new skin-walker or a new wendigo.
The warbling sounds like it says ‘Go Away’...great.
The noises outside the window sound like a Barred Owl. They make a strange cry and have that distinct warble. As for the frost and stench of rot, the rot could be a bear moving by (I’m grasping at straws here), and I really don’t have a good explanation for the frost. It could be something more... unnatural, but at the same time it could be the wildlife messing with you.

Everything points to it being a Wendigo. The smell and coldness, it following you the voice imitations. And the native land. If I am correct it is in fact a Wendigo but it can only kill you when you are outside. It can not come in your house according to legend
I love there stories with you and your best friend, hope you do more with her, it really does sound like a Windigo but another thing I thought of that's just as scary, a person just wanting to lure her outside and do god knows what

Not saying its that it was derrick, cause he died in January 21 2016 he died of heart disease. so, that leaves just a ghost that's using a tape recorder, and Ripping ass everywhere it walks.

Okay so I'm watching this with my dog curled up with me and when he hear shadow he was fine, but when he heard whatever it was imitating shadow's noise he became upset and started to wood and bark at it. Definitely creepy!

i lived with my grandparents in a cabin in the woods in new Hampshire.
we have a pack of coyotes that roam the woods that are around the back of my grandma's garden. i can tell if the sound is a coyote and that's not a coyote. there was on old native graveyard in the woods behind the yard and i heard and saw alot of stuff including a skinwalker.
i heard it trying to talk. it sounded like a baby trying to talk for the first time.
i had been talking on my phone a second before i heard it.
syllable by syllable i heard the creaky deep voice form the words i had said to end the phone call. it said "Goodbye"

As far as I know from studying Native American peoples legend's the Wendigo is a sprit that inhabits a humans body, and makes them crave human flesh. These people that get possed by the sprit, will attack anyone, and start to devour them.

It really sounds a LOT like someone OR SOMETHING recorded Shadowkisses dog (btw shadow is totally cute and adorable and I want that kind of dog too but it would be too much for me so I stay with my Golden Retriever but SHADOW LOOKS ADORABLE!!!!!). Especially when Shadowkisses grandfather parked his old timer outside, it could have been a tape that is played by the car, which would be super creepy. Or something is trying to imitate her in a really weird way... But how it sounded I would guess a really old tape or a record. Which is creepy too. So I don't know how Shadowkisses managed to seem so calm. I would have been freaking out! Especially when my dog is nearby and SOMEONE OUT THERE is trying to IMITATE her just to LURE me out! I would have been done. I would have called the police!
I used to live in skamania County Washington and kinda still do but I would often see a shadow figure a lot its a bit of a tail
That was a wendigo they mimic voices and they have red glowing eyes and they r usually 10 to.20 feet tall and the worbaling noise is what they use to lure the people out and if u don't piss it off it won't hurt u the wendigo usually mimic the voices of a man but sometimes it can also mimic the voce of a woman but mainly the voice of a man but sometimes it can't perfectly mimic the voices and they mainly become more impatient when u don't follow there mimicking of the voice they will start becoming shadows and if u do not leave the woods they will come after u and kill u

So I know this is a late comment, but it sounded like what you hear with video clips of people trying to catch aliens on tape mixed with one of those dolls that says, 'Mama'. It doesn't sound like Shadow, but that may just be me.

I'm 3 years late to this party lmao but it sounds like a shitty recording of her dog. there's a reverb, white noise, and it's replaying the same whine again and again. that doesn't explain the rancid smell or sudden freezing temperature drops. whether it was a person or something paranormal, either way it was trying to lure her out. it could not be anything good.
Everything thats been mentioned in this video so far completely points to a wendigo

Another thing is that wendigos are said to be a Canadian cryptid, found mostly in British columbia and Ontario and guess what state is right under Britsh Columbia, that's right, Washington.
Also in a prior video Madame said that she thinks that the local tree farm was bought out using unjust means and she my be correct seeing as wendigos are associated with greed, if that means anything.

Ive heard that exect howl out in iraq. We were in the desert in the day. There was no animals around. No clue what makes it.
Edit. So i was showing this clip to my daughter and out cat (lazy as hell) get of her podium and has a listen. After a few seconds she starts to howl and hiss at my phone. When i paused the video she walked around the sofa for a few minutes before she settled down. Weirdest thing ever lol also if you compare shodows howl at around 16:20 to the noise that was recorded. Shadow has a slight throughty growl at the end of each howl. Whatever was outside left that out. So as shadows owner shadow kisses should be able to tell them apart for future reference

I don't know why, but every time I hear this audio, my heart beat quickens, and I can actually feel that warble sound in my ears, as if it were tangible and "rubbing" the inside of my ears; it makes me want to pop my ears. Something about it genuinely sets me on edge and I'm not entirely sure why, it gives me a bad feeling.
It could be a wendigo or a skin walker. Both are known for living in the woods and mimicking noises to kill people, I feel it may be more so a skin walker since they are more tied to native American legends and will kill animals for their skin (could explain the smell coming and going, it may be the rotting skin/animal itself). Skin walkers can be found in almost any native American forest while wendigos seem to be tied to colder places since people will become more desperate in cold climates with little food.
sinful_ginger true but they do live in Washington up north and also a wendigo can smell of rotting flesh due to their body having never been washed and also that they do get their food from humans and generally wendigo do bring a chill upon the air where they go as they are associated with the cold and again Washington state just beneath British Columbia which is where the highest population of wendigo is rumored to be

I have no explanation for the warble... I agree it sounded kinda similar to a needle on a record (specifically a record that's been warped out of shape). The howl almost sounded like something in the distance creaking to me, but I would say that it was probably something trying to lure you out using a familiar sound. I couldn't name anything specific, natural or supernatural, but I would definitely be very careful.

Actually, I've heard a similar story in Cayleigh Elise's channel. Basically this group of friends were camping and one of them disappeared in the middle of the night. On of them started calling his name and after a while they all heard her voice coming from the woods with the same quality as on the clip you recorded. You should stay indoors and make sure you lock up everything and probably move away from there if you get the chance. This shit looks to be escalating. The thing I got from the two videos regarding these incidents is that it seems to be scouting you out or it doesn’t want you there. Maybe dig into the history of the entirety of the land. Normally I’d be joking but I’m not that sounds like something from space maybe but it’s it’s hard to tell maybe space related or maybe demonic but as I was listening to that I just got a cold chill down my entire spine like you guys go through so much stuff but like I’ve only seen things I’ve barely ever heard stuff
I am having some severe activity myself. There used to be a very dense bamboo grove that spanned a couple separate properties, and there was a very powerful spirit in the oldest tree that I referred to as the Mother Tree. That spirit often took the spiritual shape of a dragon, especially in my dreams and mind. Sometimes I'd get a weird almost whisper in my ears that would warn me about things. Anyways, she protected me and my family from a lot of things at night. But the bamboo had to be removed, and the Mother Tree was cut down. Now I have constant chills at night and a constant feeling of things watching me from the darkness of my yard. I just saw something in the next yard just watching me, before I closed the curtain. I seem to be a magnet for things like this, like a living hotspot due to just how spiritually aware I am of the things around me. But now I'm completely on my own because my guardian left the moment her place was removed. I am no longer shielded, and it worries me. I went outside to sit in the front yard, but I heard what sounded like a cat screech, but wrong... Only one, but I noped back inside because I could feel something off about it. For some reason, I asked out loud, "Was that a bobcat?" and it was just dead silent. Nothing. Cars were even going by my house, but I couldn't hear them. I immediately went back inside.
Anyways, the thing that was imitating Shadow most likely was a skinwalker. I've heard about encounters where there's a sort of glitch. Sometimes you'll hear it kind of go through a few different versions of the sound or, sometimes, the voice it's trying to use.

I sounds as if someone put Shadow's noise on a record, and kept on replaying it, and it's one of those records that make those echo-y noises or static noises. Idk, that's what it sounds like to me.

The sound is too uniform and too evenly spaced apart for me to think of it as anything but mechanical. I'm a very superstitious person. I'm the Mulder in my relationship, always chasing spooky things, while my partner is the skeptical Skully. However, this sound is far too... mechanical... in nature for me to feel like it's something supernatural. Before moving up north, I lived in Texas almost my whole life. I've heard many mechanical things that sound very similar, even spookier at night. Crickets, or oil jacks, often make awful howling noises like that. Wind pumps can make really similar noises if they are going very slowly. Both can be so loud that they can be heard for miles in the dead of night. Maybe this particular noise was simply something like that. Any kind of continuous mechanical pump that is extremely old and worn out could be making that noise, and it would be the most logical in my opinion.
Earlier tonight, I heard a noise outside my window that sounded just like the mystery sound in this video. I ended up looking up a video of owls and their calls, and the sound matches almost perfectly to a barred owl, including the warble/record scratch sound. I looked up the habitat range and it includes Washington state.
I should mention, the "Who cooks for you" call isn't the call I'm referring to. Look up 'The Distinctive Calls of Owls' by LabofOrnithology at about 1:07 in the video.

Omfg, I remember loosing one of my dogs near the woods at my old house and I kept hearing her barks, my mom never found out that I'd sneak out every night to find her but I never did... I remember some very scary stuff happening out in the dark, I just blame it on being young

Kat Thomas true me personally I believe it is a wendiboobler as from my personal research the skinwalkers don’t bring a sort of chill upon the air as mentioned in the vid while a wendigo (associated with cold and starvation) do

From my experience with supernatural creatures, the cold thing is big. I live in a desert, it gets cold at night, but it’s like a sweatshirt and jeans cold, not parka cold until around November. And in all the situations where I think I’ve interacted with a skinwalker, it’s been absolutely frigid.
Now if you think that stops me from camping, you’re dead wrong, because I have the survival instinct of roadkill lol

I nearly missed the notification for this video. I'm glad I checked anyway. And as for the noise, I don't have enough experience with sounds, but it sounded to me like some sort of recording. The noise was so uniform that, if it was something that can mimic sounds, if definitely had experience. The noise separate from the howling is something I've never heard before (outside of messed up audio files). There are so many mythos that can mimic sounds that I'm not even sure where to begin to theorize what it could be. That video was super creepy though.

Witnessed one in Spokane on a plateau, mid summer afternoon, suddenly gets ice cold while me and my cousin are hiking, we smell the stench of pure death, the dogs are going nutso, we start booking it because we feel this impending sense of doom, we get back to her house, and we look up paranormal shit because we were cryptid nerds.
We returns to that area the next day (with the one of the dogs), and there was frost everywhere over there and it reeeeeeked.
We hear a noise similar to the dog that wasn't with us and my cousin calls her mom, the dog is with her and the sound was off anyways, just like shadowkisses clip.

That sounds like it could be a windigo, they like to watch their "prey" and it probably saw that shadows signature sound made you react right away. They can mimic sounds but it always sounds distorted like that

Pros and cons to it being a human.
Pro: Humans are probably more fragile and easier to defend against in an outright confrontation than some supernatural critter.
Cons: Humans are clever and if someone's going to that amount of effort, they might not let up.
