Very good video! Very informative and detailed specific. I like how they tick up close to the body with little to no gap. I just got a 2024 sr5 and still deciding which steps or rock sliders to go with. Do these feel pretty sturdy when you step on them since they are body mounted?
Awesome video as usual Chris...just curious if you use liquid glue or super glue. Not a lot of pesky chrome parts on this 1:1 model so no sanding necessary . Gorgeous color similar to the 1:1 bike model a few videos back. Clueless how you got it into the paint booth ...the rails are a perfect fit and look beautiful. Have a feeling you will play with THIS model...
I adjusted mine to almost touching the rocker panels to protect them from rocks and salt/slush. You can adjust them from anywhere up to touching, to a couple inches away from the body.
Nice job! Love projects like these. Great addition to a gorgeous truck. I’m guessing you are not going to rust and crust them now. Thanks for the review.
Interesting tutorial - it's great when you can do these kinds of jobs yourself instead of having the dealers do it and tack it onto the final price. The new truck looks great; I hope it serves you well for many years to come.
I recently installed these, and your tutorial is spot on.

She's a beauty Chris! Nice work!
That’s a Big Model your working on Chris lol Turned out Great 👍👍
Sweet! I just picked up the same truck in white. My RC power steps are on order. Can’t wait. Great video!
Awesome truck! Great install!
Great video, love the Tacoma
Looks absolutely great I also love the color of your new truck 👍👍
Your truck is really nice, love the video please do more.
Thanks! Will do!
Great video! I have been watching your videos for a long time, and never knew you are a fellow Wisconsinite. Greetings from Waukesha County!!
Thanks for watching!
Pressed nuts are probably steel with galvanized coating

I'm gonna need a new turntable for the final reveal for sure.
Wow.. now you make the 1:1 model kit tho?
congratulations on the new Tacoma!
Question, do these come into contact with the body of the truck? It looks like the plastic meets the very bottom or no?

@@hpiguy Perfect thanks, yeah I’m trying to decide on running boards based solely on which ones provide the most chip protection..
How sturdy are these? I've seen some that wobble from to back.
As long as you tighten all the hardware once installed they will not move or rattle at all.
This was a great help - thanks for filling in the info their instructions didn't give.
👍👍 always enjoy your videos Chris.
Not into the 1:1 kits, though a great video still. Keep them coming I'll keep watching.

Pity quality control for the sidesteps less than ideal, instructions belong back in the 1970's🤬
Thanks for the video. Their instructions not helpful
You bet, I found the same thing with these.
