It’s nice for me to see a Mexican actor of such gratitude in the way he portrayed the character and our culture. Even more what fascinated me was that Tenoch and I carry the Huerta name. Seeing him in the Black Panther has made me want to find my father and learn my family and heritage.
Read the comics. Comic CANON dictates alot of what Ryan C. was trying to give on screen. If you see some of the 'scenes' in art form you'll know why he chose these characters and tries to ***STICK*** to the original story. We thank you Stan Lee for those visions.
When an actor gets you deep into a character you never cared about due to the addition of personality and culture which was never dived deeply in the comics. 💀🇲🇽
I love this. As a Black American who learned Spanish and has lived in Latin America, this film and the representation in it spoke to me on so many levels. Getting to know the people who embody the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world over the years, I have long considered Latinos/Latinx/Hispanos (como sea su preferencia) to be like "distant cousins" to us Black folk. Loved hearing Huerta make this remark 😊. Watching this movie was so emotional for me, and I especially appreciate how Indigenous people were honored. I was curious how Coogler/Marvel would progress the story in the absence of Chadwick, but it could not have been better. Instant classic. Plan to watch it again and again. ❤
So glad to hear that. I'm a black man, and on so many occasions here in Colorado, Mexican brothers and sisters have shown me love like a cherished visiting cousin. Really glad to hear his words.
Totally agree. After watching the film, and then seeing Tenoch's true personality as so warm and bright makes me appreciate how great of an actor he is. Namor's personality is a stark contrast. He excellently interpreted that role!
i saw someone say "namor isnt a villain, hes an antagonist" and honestly thats the best way to describe it. thats also what i thought about from the beginning
This man is FINE AS WINE, in addition to being a very good actor. ❤❤ Loved his performance in "Black Panther 2" and hope to see him in a solo movie all about Namor in the near future! 👏🏽👏🏽
This is the world I have always wanted to see as a boy growing up. All races on the screen living life as people and motivated by something other than you are black, brown, and white. Makes the movie feel real.
if it takes a MARVEL movie to ENCOURAGE everyone around the world to be MORE IN TOUCH, or even GET IN TOUCH with their heritage..... THEN SO BE IT..... I hope this is a turning point for a lot of children of immigrants who dont identify with their parents heritage and backgrounds.
Yeah, That's the legacy of the Black Panther franchise. What an amazing cultural impact it's having. Shang Chi had some similar, but more limited (I think) impact as well.
Honestly, I was rooting for Namor/Sun-Mariner. He truly loved his people and did everything he could to protect them. Tenoch owned it. I look forward to seeing more and seeing him interact with the wider MCU.
Random two chicks in the back is so distracting . Neither of them look like they even want to be there & im not sure if they want him to leave or are protecting him. Either way…..job opening on the red carpet!!

“I felt like the Mexican cousin” just translated into he passed the black family cookout.
He aint worried , Hes got the Carne Asada waiting at home.
@@kingcobra9485 he's dating a black woman? Yesssss 👀

Good luck ! 👍

Ryan knows how to give villain motivation that is compelling
Yes he does. He truly makes you care about these characters, whether they good or bad.👍
Indeed

Namor and Shuri chemistry was tangible and that did it for me! They put their heart and soul into their characters.
Yes. I want more of them!

I hope we see Namor again. Tenoch was amazing in the film!!
And that what he is- a cousin ❤❤❤
I loved his role! It was so poetic 🔥
He's very humble, I love the way he explains stuff. Felicidades Tenoch! Que sigas adelante!!
His performance in Wakanda Forever is out of this world, mesmerizing his acting in Ryan Coogler's film

Here’s a hot take namor actually won. All he wanted in the beginning was wakandas partnership and in the end he got it
I mean the terms of that partnership were 😅 a lot

Such a great take on Namor, Can't wait to watch!!!!
He speaks with great vocabulary!
NAMORRRRRR!!!! TENOCH HUERTA!!!!!!
I love everything about him as a gracious and humble man to a proud and well spoken Latino. This is why inclusion is important.
Tenoch is gonna be big in the MCU!!
for phase 5 and 6 he will. 7 not so much
Hopefully, big acting wise period.
