I am planning on a trip to the mountains for my birthday in October. Darnell Farms is now on my list of things to do on that trip thanks to your video and review. Thanks for another beautiful video and keep the great content coming.
This video was so much fun to watch!! I could have sat at that river all day long. We will have to try the dream whips!! So glad you were able to fix your camera! Having a backup is such a good idea! Again, great video. We adore y'all.
Yes, I am so glad to have my camera operating again. Thank you for watching and for your kind comments. Let us know if you get up there and what you think of the Dream Whip.
My wife and I were there it was our anniversary. We usually go to the mountains on our anniversary. I saw you guys filming too. My wife tried the pineapple and I tried the strawberry. We went to deep creek and hiked a little bit. Came back and got myself, a blackberry one. She wanted to listen to the music. We had a good time.
@@ellenthompson8143 The Dream Whip is something they have all the time. I do know they close down for a couple months in winter, but yes, you can get the Dream Whip whenever they're open.
We were at the farm for the first time last Thursday. We did buy some strawberries and a pineapple dreamwhip....yum!!We would have liked to stay for the festival but had to head back home on Sat morning 🙁Like I commented a couple of days ago we did make it to Haywoods smokehouse on Thursday which we totally enjoyed! Thanks for the video though , it looked nice and fun!Love the mountains around the fields, so beautiful!!
Derrick I'm glad you got your camera fixed. Blackberry and watermelon my favorites. I really need to go there and have one. Been to Cherokee a few times and thanks to your videos. I now know about Darnell farms. I looked it up only 11 miles from Cherokee
This always looks like such a neat festival. That peach mango whip sounds good.,I would also have to try one with pineapple. Looks like they have this place set up in the right spot.I would like to get there one day.
Hearing the banjo and seeing the cloggers makes it feel like home here in Caldwell County and G Falls. Have y'all ever been to the Molasses Festival at Sims Country Barbecue? I clogged with the country cloggers there when I was in middle school.
@@gmanandhislady I haven't heard about them having it, in a long time. But if they did, I'd be interested in going back. We've been talking about going there to eat, anyway.
Remmeber at exit 69 at Hyatt rd they use to have the singing? Inspiration Hill…. It’s been gone a while now. (The Inspirationa) Not sure what they’re gonna do with that property. I imagine I can guess… lol Hopefully, it won’t be developed. Maybe the Tribe will buy it.
I think you are referring to the singing grounds for the group, The Inspirations. One of my favorite groups. I was there for a singing once...back in the 1980s.
Did they have jerky. 2 years ago we found elk jerky in Cherokee and it was tender and delicious. Me, not a fan but was sooo yummy 😋. Thank you for the tour
The Green Valley Cloggers danced around the 330 minute mark.... Love watching the dancing and hearing the Darnell family making music!
those dream whips look delicious
They really are
Thanks for sharing enjoyed watching y'all
Thanks for watching!

That's great! We had a good time, as well. You should have come up and said hello.
Happy Anniversary!
Do they have the Dreamwhip all the time or just during Festivals! You are making my mouth water! Love watching you two. I'm glad camera is working! ❤👍
@NCMemoryMakers next we will. And thank you.

Yes, not far from Cherokee at all. You would love it, especially the Dream Whip.
And yes, I'm very glad my camera lens popped back into place.

Yes, we went years ago.
Do they still have it?
@@NCMemoryMakers I don't know if they still have it or not, but that festival y'all were at in Bryson City made me think of the Molasses Festival.

You’re in my stomping grounds!
Love me some Darnell Farms and Bryson City!

Y’all should do a “shirt” on your dream while” review for folks visiting.
Id be curious, but I don’t think it’s dairy.
You should do a “short” on the dream whips” from this video.
No, it isn't dairy. Sure tastes like it, though. Great stuff!
