- Hello Nu Yawkers! Join me today on the United States side of Niagara Falls for a room tour of the Seneca Resort and Casino. I checked into a king, non-smoking Falls View room for four nights and three days. Everything was within walking distance from the hotel. I even walked over to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls and did a full day of walking there ... no need for a ride if you enjoy walking! How was my stay while in Niagara Falls? We have never paid extra for a falls view & thanks for showing the view is not the falls so now I know I am not missing anything but you do see the river so that is nice. I think the rooms here are good & a great size & like there is a hot tub & indoor pool at this hotel. We are 2 hours away in Toronto area lots of us come over for a few days shopping & gambling. Its always funny that money has not been spent to beef up this side of the falls compared to our Canadian side with more attractions I guess the money has to be shared with NYC lol

It seems to me you should be able to go downstairs to the front desk and ask for $40 off since you 'don't have a falls view.' 'Not my problem they don't exist, my friend. That was what's promised when I booked the room."
@@richardhales92 What I mean is attractions. Right across on our Canadian side there is roads jammed with mini golf, arcades, hotels restaurants & 2 casinos Its fun to roam up & down with the crowds. Totally different vibe. But assume alot of the state money goes to New York city.

I like the hotel here. I did a review here a few years ago and was not disappointed. It can get pricey though. I don't recommend walking around the neighborhood at night though. I agree about leaving the bathroom door open lol, need a little night light. I basically had the same view as you did. Thanks for sharing. subscribed here as well!

I Love that room. very deceptive for them to say falls room when there is no view of the falls. mist won't cut it for me.
Thanks Richard! Thanks for pointing out the 'Fallsview' room description. Here's the thing. For the most part, the actual waterfalls are on the U.S. side of the border. This of course means the best viewing is from the Canadian side. As far as I know, there are no hotels with real Falls view on the U.S. side. You'll see in future videos here that if you want to get real close to the Falls (really close, like getting soaked), you want to be on the U.S. side. If you want a great view of the Falls, well ... you need to be in Canada, as you'll see in the coming videos of this series, I cover both! Thanks for watching!
I stay at the Allegany property several times a month. Great place. I could get comped for rooms, but I pay to get a "Mini suite," which has hand-held shower heads, robes, slippers, and a Keurig coffee maker. It's a bit nicer than the regular rooms. It's only about twenty more dollars than the regular rooms. The weird thing I noticed, and it looks as if it applies to your room as well, is that none of the rooms I've been in have a microwave.
I rarely see a microwave in the rooms I stay in, unless it's a suite or BNB. Thanks for watching and subscribing Gabor! Happy Holidays!

The room looks nice. I have been to the buffet and casino there. I prefer staying on the Canadian side because there is more to do plus the gambling is tax free if you win a jackpot at the Canadian casinos.

Yes! Always. And by the sink as well ... I go through lots of wash cloths. Not very controversial.
@@NuYawk Fascinating! I rarely use washcloths! I wish you'd do a poll on washclothes. How many people use washcloths daily? I never do. I use them to wipe up spilt coffee in hotel rooms, but I do rinse them out, but only because hotels don't offer paper towels, which maybe they should?! I use washclothes to clean up coffee by the coffee maker. This is controversial.

@@NuYawk Jeff, I'm in an outrage. I don't know anything about them. I put them on a timer when I'm on the toilet and I don't know whether I'm tan 5 minutes later or have given myself cancer. Sometimes I stay in the bathroom for 30 minutes taking a bath with the timer going, & I'm not sure I'm doing the right thing, but it seems to me the family isn't listening to what I'm doing in the bathroom, that's a plus. I don't know what or how it works. I want a 20 minute video on heat lamps.
It's a heat lamp, not a sun lamp. You turn it on before you shower and the bathroom is nice and warm. No tan, no cancer.
