Thank you for this. It would be so great to get dental professio also and medical professionals working together to combat inflammation.
Working as a hygienist I have come to realize that the gingiva are one of the first areas in the body to present with inflammation if there is something wrong. Unfortunately, current dental guidelines don't address diet as treatment for periodontal disease.

Even more unfortunately so many people do not have dental insurance. I 100% believe dental care should be included in health insurance policies, it should not be seen as a separate part of healthcare.

I have seen this in operation in an elderly family member. The dementia lessened once the person’s infection was addressed. I experienced a similar reaction to an undiagnosed UTI recently, which led to a seizure. Just before the seizure began, I experienced some dementia-like symptoms.

I’m in the same boat. When the migraines/inflammation are very bad I have found a 1 or 2 day fast to be very helpful. Also occasional glutathione IVs seem to help with the migraines. I started with 1,000 mg but I do 2,000 mg now. Usually once per month. Good luck finding solutions that work for you.

Interesting and important. This also explains why maintaining adequate sleep habits is so important, we just need to connect the facts. As we know, lack of sleep is one of the main triggers of systemic inflammation, and therefore, this explains why someone at the age of 50 who sleeps an average of 7 hours has a 30% lower risk of developing Alzheimer’s compared to someone else who sleep less. The shorter the sleep duration, the higher the risk. What will 10x the benefits is that in order to get the best possible sleep quality we need to follow a sleep-healthy diet and exercise habits...something we can start doing today!

Thank you Mobeen! Very important papers to understand. Now, I am intently curious how our near infra red-starved lifestyles, largely devoid of regular exposures to daylight (particularly the NIR), plus the similar experimental laboratory NIR-starved environments, might need to overlay the quantum biology of light issues into this assessment? Low D3, low NIR inducement of mitochondrial exposure benefits for structured water energy function and melatonin production, may be essential to understand along with these important inflammation understandings? Our switch to too much indoor LED lighting (cutting out the NIR from incandescent lighting), appears maximally problematic for increasing inflammatory effects as well? No?

@@marcyvhundley2851 Indeed, the structured water in mitochondria (and blood flow/endothelial protections of structured water) appear to be mechanisms of action essential to understand and educate about ASAP.

We can't switch of the pollution, this is true, but we can create pollution free zones in our homes. The bedroom is a good place to start, so as to be pollution free when we sleep, which is a non negligible % of our time.
We can also inform ourselves, when the outdoor pollution is at a high risk of triggering the inflammation, if we are prone to pollution triggering it, and avoid doing high risk activities on high risk days.
It is all well and good to go jogging, it's good for us, but it isn't good to do physical activity if ozone or nitrogen dioxide levels are raised, because this promotes oxidative stress, and the oxidative stress is the cause of the disproportionate inflammation.
Making our problems worse, by doing things we believe to be helpful, because we are unaware of how atmospheric chemistry is affected by pollution, and how the affected atmospheric chemistry is affecting cellular function, should not be happening, because all the information is available to avoid it.
Sportsmen and women shouldn't be dropping dead on the playing fields and while running marathons, because we shouldn't be playing sports, or running marathons, when the air isn't suitable for outdoor physical activity. Or we should, at the very least, establish who are the ones who prone to it, and they shouldn't be participating.
